Actually don't think that's quite as hot a take as he thinks it is. I'd argue that the same line of thinking applies across different sports. How many NHL busts would have made it in a different org that prioritized different things?

Well of course there will be players that bust no matter what - that wasn't an all or nothing statement. Also Manziel had addiction issues, so that's kind of an external thing.

I'd argue Tebow did better than anyone expected just by winning that 1 playoff game.

The majority is too far for me, but hell yes in general. Someone like Paxton Lynch was so absurdly awful against any pressure that he couldn't have become a mediocre starter for example.

But in general, my opinions on futures change after they're picked. I think it's flat out wrong not to make adjustments.
