did brown play a top6 game this season? 3rd line fix, that's what i recall. plus some pp seconds.

They did for a little bit, yes. Since Brown started off the season by playing with so much energy and hustle they had him in the top six with the hope that he'd get the other players going.

If you recall, Tanner Pearson was bumped down to skate with Trevor Lewis for a while there so Dustin Brown was up with Kopitar and Gaborik.

true, my dementia, first 15 games or so it was brown with kopi and gabby (or sometimes pearson). after that it was brown with shore and lewis. just recently we're having brown with lewis and king.

Did you ever stop and think why the Kings have one of the top-rated defenses in the league?

Sutter doesn't play rookies, he ruined Mike Richards career, he tells Kopitar to dick around the perimeter of the ice and not shoot, he picks on the media, etc.

Not to mention his crappy 37-24 record in the playoffs with the Kings.

Regarding bolded section: every person has at least one redeeming quality.

Sutter plays rookies... and has a proven track history of playing plugs like Nolan over rookies that can pass and shoot. Which is frustrating.... and leads to the offense being around 20th in the league...

On a side note, Kings are ranked 15th offense in the league.... and it's one of their best years ever.... imagine what would happen if they got to the 10th ranked offense (while keeping their defense)? What's needed for that? Is it as simple as not playing guys that can't hit the net in the top 6? Is that it?

Kings are 15th in GF. That's true. But that is including the horrible start to the season where they only scored 2 goals in 3 games.

From game 4 on, the kings have a GF of 2.81 which would be 8th. Arizona is 7th at 2.82.

I see this move by DL is one of having to take Vinny to get Luke Schenn.

Vinny, like Mike Richards, has nothing left in the tank at this point, and if he's a defensive liability (like he is this season) then Sutter will put him out to pasture.

I think Vinny is going to surprise us. He is going to party like it's 1999.

Sometimes a change jumpstarts the vets. Scheen can eat minutes.
Weal is not that valuable in my eyes. The third provides much of what we already have. The Kings get some vets and leadership.

44 isn't any slower then King or Nolan, has good vision... threw a couple of hits...

Schenn was fine...

I Weally am going to miss Weal though... That was "Weally close" or "are we in Weal time" when fast forwarding... just so much entertainment...

Over 9 mins for Vinny and over 16 mins for Schenn, which helps all the other guys above them in the lineup.

I liked what I saw of them in their Kings debut.

Good game by them, even without time to get comfortable in our system and Vinnie not having played a game in so long. Hope they will fit right in.

Nolan's been fine, and he doesn't just play Nolan-types as rookies. Just our current leading goal and point scorer.

And frankly if we keep picking up cups as often as we have under Sutter, the Reign could outscore the Kings for all I care.

That's not right is it? Two cup wins and a western conference final. That's 41 wins. Losses seem high too.

2012: 16-4
2013: 9-9
2014: 16-7
2015: 0-0

Total: 41-23
