And BC this year isn't a very talented team.Whether it's Gauthier or any other prospect, give more weight to the opinions with specificity and very little to the POINTS posts. I don't have either to be clear. I know nothing.
But when we're going to start discussing 2019 Wisconsin, that's up my wheelhouse. I know it's tempting to see Turcotte, Holloway, and K'Andre Miller then assume it was a stacked team. That program was an absolute mess. It was the year after that Wisconsin was actually good. This wasn't a mid-2010s Brandon situation.
My comparison was simply a response to "why doesn't he score more?"
1.2 ppg as a freshman is pretty good, better on a bad team than say Michigan or Minnesota.
Caufield and Gauthier are apples and oranges, Caufield's whole value is goal scoring, whereas we'll need to see if Gauthier can contribute in other ways, especially on defense at center, given his size and speed.
