Why? It's supposed to be about the revolving door and evaluating youth now. That's what you insist every year. There's nothing left to evaluate with Lemieux. Why should he be playing and not anyone else? This is the perfect time to have Brink up. If anything you claimed about Tortorella and his values and his control level were true, he'd be playing today.
Ya not Brink he is not even close right now .

Especially have no concept of it. Otherwise they wouldn't be here. Clarke and Friends could never tolerate different opinions. Tortorella has already slammed Farabee for being injured.

Why would Torts belittle him......it sounds so....so....so....... juvenile ?????

If he did it to me in that context.........this is what he be up against.....

Because it didn’t happen.
Torts didn’t slam Farabee for being injured.

Torts said injuries were no excuse (i.e. not wanting the player to look for an excuse), then a few weeks later said the injury was a reason for Farabee's struggles.

Typical HC motivational ploy, trying to balance the reality that the injury kept Farabee from training from the natural impluse to resort to excuses when your play is subpar. Farabee lacks strength, which hinders him in the dirty areas, but that has less impact on effort, skating, etc., where he's also been inconsistent.

There’s one….!!!!

EP released a write up with 47 undrafted college free agents and he didn’t crack the list. Combined with the fact that his ELC doesn’t start this year, I’m going to guess there wasn’t a ton of interest league wide. His teammate Rosen seems like the better prospect but he is not 6’3.

Can they fit anymore bodies in LHV?

Exactly. Torts said injuries weren't an excuse (and later backed down even on that).

Saying an injury isn't an excuse is not the same as slamming someone for being injured.

Probably my biggest pet peeve: Contending someone "said" something they didn't say. And it's pathological on this board with a few people in particular.

Injuries are a f***ing excuse though. Saying they're not is blaming the player for being injured for not being "man" enough to miraculously make your body work in a way it cannot. Because they are, and they always do. It's stupid. It's detrimental. It's the kind of mindset that damages players long-term. It bad coaching. It's a bad way to run a team.ayve if you weren't so busy adoring petty authority you'd realize that.

Injuries are an excuse, the problem is that they keep happening, and handled poorly, and there isn’t an excuse for that. Farabee came back too early from his injury. And we’re seeing from Eichel that it’s an injury you need a whole year to get back from.

We missed celebrating Hayden Hodgson's 27th birthday on Thursday. :bday:

Between this year and next, the lucky guy is getting paid $1,000,000 by the Flyers to play for the Phantoms, where he has 8 points in 40 games this season.

Hayden Hodgson signed a 2 year, $1,600,000 contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on Aug. 29, 2022.

It's not an uncommon practice for GM's to sign an UFA to a 2 yr contract with the 2nd year being a 1 way deal

I think there's a player in Isles org with a 3 yr deal with 2nd and 3rd year being 1 ways.

Geez, look at the contract Dyson Mayo signed with Coyotes. 3 year 950k 1 way deal and was just traded. He'd be 6th or 7th D in Lehigh

That was the only possible outcome and the people you defend were too dumb to see it coming.
No, it wasn't "Mr. know it all." He had a good season with the Phantoms the year before,
46g 16-10 26 at ES, Sh% was elevated at 21%, but 8-10 18 shooting 10% isn't bad
Foerster this year
56g 11-11 22 at ES shooting 13.3%

Now did they have to guarantee the second season, probably not.
His upside was bottom six, maybe that physical fourth liner that can actually score goals.

Why he fell so far this season? Maybe he was an illusion, more likely there's an injury that hasn't been reported.

Yes it was. That's why it happened. Players like him don't make miraculous career jumps at his age.

No, more likely is it was a flash in the pan. He won't be bouncing back miraculously next year either.

You do not need to defend everything management does. Choosing to die on this his is pointless.

Weird thing to mock people getting things right, by the way.
