Probably wanted Ersson to get the bad taste out of his mouth. He probably won't play until next weekend.
Yep, next game is Friday, three games, he'll play in 2 of them if he stays down.

They probably want to make sure the Phantoms make the playoffs, so they keep playing when the college kids come out and Andrae comes over, so they can get a head start adjusting before the summer.

Given that JVR, Braun and Seeler are good bets to be gone by Friday, and maybe other players, a few will be shuffling right back to Philly.

Chuckles traded Ratcilffe for futures, I.e. a contract slot. Sadly, this is probably on of CFs most successful trades which he will immediately waste by signing Anisimov.

Hard to judge CHL stats b/c they're so team dependent.
Interesting to see Avon outplaying Stillman #29, and Othmann #16, both a few months older, on the same team.
Behind Tucker Robertson (4th rd Seattle) and Lockhart (6th rd Vancouver, really undersized).

Samson has picked up his game, last 10g 2-9 11 +7.

Kaplan has cooled off, 10g 2-2 4 +3.

I talk about dominating the AHL before you bring up prospects, Desnoyer's last 10 games, 5-9 14 +5.
Compare to Foerster, 2-5 7 -3. Or Lycksell 2-3 5 -6.
However, Attard 1-5 6 +3, Ginning 1-2 3 +3, Zamula 1-4 5 -1
Brink 1-7 8 +1

Gendron has really taken off since he was traded to Gatineau,
last 10g 16-5 21 +13
it's a loaded team but only one "star" forward, Riley Kidney who they traded for mid-season.
they roll 2 scoring lines.

Doubt it, these signings are rarely spontaneous, the ground work is usually done ahead of time.

No. Andrae can play for the Phantoms on an ATO, next season his ELC starts.
For the Flyers, they have to sign him to a contract and start the clock.

Thanks, FLY. But Andrae, Gauthier, etc., cannot play into the playoffs with the Phantoms because they are not in the current roster, if I understand correctly. So they could hypothetically come in only until the end of the regular season.
No, I believe they can play in the AHL playoffs as long as they don't sign an ELC that starts this season (i.e. play with the Flyers this season). I don't see them doing that with Andrae but Gauthier might (I'd advise not to).

A lot of agents require an ELC for their client to turn pro (burn off that year).
Probably depends if the Flyers think Gauthier is ready to play in the NHL next year.

I think tomorrow is the day that AHL teams have to release their playoff roster. They call it clear day.
Someone can correct me on this but this is usually the day after the trade deadline
