Someone can correct me on this but this is usually the day after the trade deadline

Once it is released, can players move up and down and still be eligible?

Desnoyers got his 20th goal, he could play in the NHL right now, but he's in a top six center role with the Phantoms. Given he shifted from a defensive specialist to an offensive player only 2 years ago in the CHL, getting more experience in that role is probably a good thing.
