Sam McCue - 7th round pick
Konnor Smith - 9th round pick
Brody Partridge - 13th round pick
Jax Dubois - 14th round pick
Dylan Woulds - 14th round pick
Chase Lefebrve - 15th round pick
Sam Mayer - U18 pick
Rob Wilson develops players like Dick Todd did. Dick took players drafted in later rounds and developed them into good OHL hockey players many of whom got drafted into the NHL. This lead to the Petes being competitive year after year and enjoying much success. He is the best Petes coach since Dick Todd. Also credit needs to be also given to Mike Oke who drafted them. He is the best Petes general manager since Dick.

Last night vs Windsor, two observations. Windsor played like the Peterborough Petes against the Peterborough Petes. And it was just one of those games where the Petes were flat and faced a team that really needed a win.
other point, and I know it should not matter the kids sometimes look at the stats and think this is an easy game until they realize it is the 3rd period and they are not winning.

Windsor got a new coach so as Kingston showed earlier all bets are off.

The curse of the CHL top 10.
Remains undefeated

Petes Prospect Francis Parish is off to an incredible start to his season with the U18 Barrie Colts. 29 points in 17 games.

Wish there were stats available for the GTHL U18 because Chase Del Colombo is playing for a very good JRC team.

I believe both of these players will make the team next season

I guess the other shoe has dropped. I think the Petes will remain competitive but things have a way of balancing out right? Since the Oshawa comeback game in that very successful road trip weekend (only one week ago), the Petes have played like they're tired or have taken their foot off the pedal. Maybe some illness and injury, who knows.

Or it could just be a bad weekend. It happens in Junior hockey. then the following weekend, things get back on track.

I’d only worry if this weekend is followed by a similar weekend next week.

Sudbury was gifted so many chances tonight, that team is going nowhere, aren't they supposed to be one of the all in teams? Can't see that team beating the Petes in a playoff series unless the Petes really sell. They don't have the horses and they certainly don't have the coaching.

Chalk up another in favour of keeping the team together.

Time to let Bowen run with the starting job for a bit. I thought Page played maybe his best game of the season tonight.

The officials were just bad. Not even getting into any questionable penalties, they were in the way all night long. Three seperate times a linesman tried to drop the puck when the goalie clearly wasn't ready and things had to be restarted. And then those calls in the third. The "slew foot"... or not... was literally five feet in front of him but it was obvious from the start no one had a clue, thank goodness for replay I guess?

One linesman dragged McCue, who had no idea what was going on into the box for a (very questionable) penalty that was very obviously meant to be on Melee. (they had to review this as well to figure it out) Just incompetence all over the place.

I agree Sudbury is going no where. They are a one line team and they don’t have the goaltending. It was the most one sided period of hockey that I have witnessed in awhile.

I would like to see how far this Petes team could in the playoffs.
It would be followed by a four year rebuild similar to the Generals though.

The biggest difference between the wolves now and Petes at this time last season is the wolves have far more disposable assets to build a team with.
