There is a conditional 2nd and 3rd that the Petes may still have from the trade they made to acquire Merkley from Guelph and they may still receive a conditional 2nd or 3rd from the Merkley deal to London.

The Pete’s already retained a 2022 conditional pick from the Guelph deal so if the 2nd and 3rd were for the same condition then at least Oke will have those at his disposal as well.

I hate not knowing the conditions to these trades. How are we supposed to make accurate trade predictions?!
The pick secrecy in the O is just ridiculous.

Yep -foolish penalty but I can see where this game would be upsetting for him.
We are being manhandled and outmuscled -they are faster and tougher than us on every level.

100 percent. Flint looks impressive and the Petes could be in for a long weekend playing like this

If the petes really are in on Wright I think it would make sense to get him then trade Lardis for a defenceman.

Our defence is aweful no toughness, passing just aweful. The officials in this league show no respect to The Petes or coach Wilson just take it Rob? Lmao Lockhart got mauled twice after a whistle by number5 Flint both times he grabs Lockhart from behind and rips his helmet off? No callLockhart got 5 minutes for what??? Just like last year in playoffs officials have no respect for you Coach , just take it lmao

Too much speed and skill not enough beast and brawn.

I think we should forget about Wright -we can’t handle any more speed and skill.

Watched the game on tv last night. Thought Flint was the better team for sure. Tyler Deline flints OA has really become a valuable player for them. Plays a ton of minutes . They don't seem to miss Otthman, body language all game showed they may actually dislike him. He showed a selfish side, after bringing the Petes to within 2 goals he skates at the FLint bench and points??? He didn't win it in OT, he scored to make it 5-3 Flint. Simspon had one of his not so good games and I agree with you on Spearing, wow. That's your OA captain??

The Petes actually carried the play for most of the early going last night but the pucks weren't going in.

I don't put many of those goals on Simpson. The first and third Flint goals were really bad defensive breakdowns that led to 3 on 2 point blank chances. The second and fourth were both deflections from a few feet out which are always difficult.

The Petes had 47 shots though and it could have just have easily gone the other way. Cranley was very good, so was Deline.

Anyway, just my two cents, Flint played a great game but every time the Petes lose the sky isn't falling, they aren't not working, having too many egos 🙄 or need to revamp the roster. They're not going 68-0.

It wasn’t even like a highlight reel goal either. It’s a fine line with Othmann. I like the fire and competitiveness. He just doesn’t usually harness it / exhibit it correctly. He’s 19. He’ll figure it out I’m sure and direct that competitive energy in the right direction. I just don’t think he’ll figure it out before he leaves the OHL for the Pro’s. It was a pretty unimpressive revenge performance from him.

Cranley was Cranley. Solid most of the game but lets Panwar get one past him that could get a bantam goalie pulled.

Petes dominated first 10 mins and Cranley saved the day.

Petes d corp is awful and nowhere close to contender. Othmann provides the fire and passion that rest of forward group lacks, but his foolishness may hurt you.

Petes should concentrate on getting White out of Hamilton and maybe another solid 03 reliable dman.

Just looked back to the 2019-2020 season. Through 25 games played that year we had a record of 17-6-1-1 for 36 points. This year through 25 games played 13-9-1-2 for 29 points and overall just meh when you consider how much talent this team has, arguably more than 19-20 at this time. This team has had more than enough opportunities to have that same or a better record

Zanetti and McCoy out, 2 better D-men in. That's my 2 cents. Forget Wright this team doesnt need another forward we have enough
