I'm not sure if you can read or if you're just choosing not to. Why is Larkins injury history more important than Zubs injury history?

Lol sweet reading comprehension... Find where I said it was more important. I didnt. What I said, is that because Joseph is directly involved in that history, that hes going to know more about it. A random concussion for Zub that no wings are involved with, is different than running a guy from behind, injuring him and then that guy suckering you in the head leading to a suspension for doing it. You think Joseph doesnt remember that incident at all or do you think thats something that Joseph would probably know more about than Perron knowing about Zub?

Going back to the original Larkin Joseph incident where Larkin ended up needing to see a specialist, BLashill was talking about the team needing to police itself because the league wont do it. Dont be surprised this crap happens until the league actually starts doing their job

What is there to comprehend? Joseph was accidentally a part of a play that injured Larkin. Detroit fans bring up Larkins injury history as some sort of reason that Joseph should not have gone up high on the play he simply should not have gone up high history or no history. Well, Zub has a concussion history, and he was thoroughly cross-checked in the head. This all started because a Detroit fan said "Ya Perron should have asked for Zub's medical history." by the way

As an impartial fan who came here to see if there was any update on the Perron suspension, I am astonished to come in here and see the amount of Red Wing fans who honestly think Joseph did anything wrong here. Am I taking crazy pills? The only dirtbag in this entire situation was Perron

Lot of them are just embarrassing themselves by letting emotions cloud their judgement.

Bickering between fan bases about who the good guys are, who the bad guys are, who's soft, who's intending to injure, etc..... is a whopping good time and all, but the reality that matters is that only one player will be answering the bell on 1/31, and it's not David Perron.

Serious question: are there any non-DRW fans who actually believe Joseph deserves a suspension? Call it a punch, or a shove, but it was the softest contact ever, and led to an unfortunate injury off a fluke play involving multiple players. Not even sure it was worth 2 minutes, usually you can get away with murder in front of the net.

It’ll be interested to see how much Perron gets. It seems like every game the Sens play the Wings, he gets hot about something and f***s his team over. Seeing your captain go down sucks, but you gotta keep your cool, especially going after Zub with your stick lol. Now you lost your captain, lost the game to a divisional rival, and are losing a top 9 forward to suspension. Dumb dumb dumb

1) Joseph already did answer the bell. I’m sure he’s fine with it.

2) I’m confident the sens will be able to handle anything the Detroit Red Wings can throw at them.

How much blame should the RW coach get for Perron's actions? He was seen swearing at Sens players during the game. Did his lack of composure push Perron to attempt to injure a Sens player?

And for the record, I don't think Joseph should be suspended by the current standard of the rules. I would just like the NHL to establish a standard that does a better job actually punishing blows to the head overall, where something like the Joseph rough would be looked at with more scrutiny while more malicious infractions would actually see consistent double-digit suspensions.
Rasmussen shoved him face first into the ice. Kind of bad from all.

Probably none, DRW coach thought the refs got all the calls correct, in his post game.

Random thought, do they really need to have in person meetings? What are they gonna tell Perron that can't be said on Zoom? Seems unnecessary for him to physically be there in person. And wasteful.

They need to assess is mental state in person. He seemed unhinged.
And who is going to do said assessing of his mental state? George Parros?

There is no psych eval as part of the supplemental discipline process...

If this is a new standard. Fine by me. If other stick infractions to the dome continue to get onesies or twosies or a fine... then less fine.

Haha the Red Wongs argued that the crosscheck wasn’t aimed at Zub’s head
