Ever hear of GM speak?

Yes I have.

Have you ever heard of kissing and reconciliation... with the understand that for better or worse, this is the best person for you at this point in time?

Seriously, it can be just BS, or it can be Hexy telling both Mase and Flyers Fans not to be faint of heart... He may be busting balls... or bluffing to gain an upper hand with somebody.

Only time will tell for certain... and then maybe not even that will tell the tale. ;)

Ever hear of GM speak?

Yes but he could easily say " we have decided to move on".

MDZ knows he has no chance of coming back. Hexrall seems to not have closed the door on Mason. I think he will use leverage to try and get the best STARTER, at the cheapest price.

Yes, there's a very obvious difference between how he talks about MDZ and Mason.

Still can't get over anyone thinking MDZ would be who Vegas signed and took from us.

There's a difference between realizing that GMs aren't always forthright and saying every single quote is a lie because of "GM speak".

Yes... Does this sound familiar? He has basically said the following more than once before:

'We have decided to go in another direction and have moved on... We wish numbnutz well going forward... he has been a good Player for us who has done all we asked of him, and should end up in good shape in another Organization'

Mason is still an option simply because there aren't many options out there. At this point I doubt he's their first choice, though.

it could be GM speak, but last week Mason's agent said that the Flyers havent talked to them about an offer which some around here seem to take as truth. Hextall said he is keeping all his options open including bringing Mason back.
Is someone lying? I think Hextall may very well be wanting Mason back. But he isnt going to be backed into a corner by Mason and his agent either.

Nucks, Yotes and Flyers still looking for a starter. Did I miss anyone??

Arizona acquired both Chad Johnson and Antti Raanta in separate trades this summer, so it's safe to say they are no longer in the market.

If Elliott signs in Winnipeg, it is down to Vancouver and Philly.

Elliot reportedly looking at accommodations in Winnipeg.

Options could becoming less and less for Mason.

AZ added Raanta....I an sure they are going to see if he can be their next starter going forward.

Edit: damn you Rebel.

What's the chances of Mase landing in Vancouver?

If he wants to lose a lot of games over the next 2 years, pretty good. If he doesn't, pretty bad.

He is in his prime and I would think he wants to play for a team that has a chance to make the Playoffs.

Mason, Miller and lesser guys like Halak, Bernier, Nilsson. Honestly it might be the best option for both parties if they kiss and make up. If available I kinda like Mrazek for his upside, but I'm not sure if Hexy does.

I don't hate Mase the person and actually wouldn't hate him back at 2 years ( even tho I would prefer Stollie with him), but man it will be satisfying watching him get Biron'd, there is NO WHERE that will give him the deal he was rumored to be wanting.

At this point Mason just wants a job preferably where he will start. He doesn't really have much say in the matter now . It looks more and more that he may have to snail trail back to Hextall which is good for the Flyers. The young d-man need an experienced goalie.
