We have 15 games left. We are about to hit some really good teams coming up

Devils - trying to win 1 point below us
Young and speedy

Then we proceed to face Stars Avalanche & Hurricanes.

All 3 teams are better than us.

Forward group better
Defense group better
Goalies - better (well maybe not avalanche technically)

If we can get some points there is a real possibility in the games after we can compete.

I got us at like a 10% of making it since the Red Wings have struggled.

They basically have to win every game. They can probably afford to go like 12-2-1 if they want to make the playoffs.

Money puck has the Pens at 11.2%.

Might as well be the 10% I randomly picked. Haha

Not really dreaming I really do expect we miss it. 6 points back with loser points involved with 15 games left.

Very difficult to catch up. Just this next gauntlet of teams will be telling.

The benefit we have is we play caps, wings, devils, islanders. We can make our own path if we want.

Bringing up Poulin and starting him over Philly POS Carter would have a trickle down effect on the entire lineup. It also would change the entire arc of team this season.

Dubas, grow a set, this is your hill to die on and your chance to put the meathead from beantown in his place.

BRING UP POULIN NOW
We usually agree but Poulin is trash. Come on now. He aint gonna do anything. He's just a wasted pick that'll never amount to anything.

Devils are playing really badly right now. They'll probably still beat us because they always do but if ever there's a time where the Pens might actually beat them it's right now.

call it callous, whatever you want, but a guy that takes a year off for “mental health” when they haven’t even made the nhl yet isn’t a guy who’s going to make it. i stopped considering him a potential prospect the moment that happened. hope he has a nice life but professional sports is a rare gig for specific personality types

I just can't watch Jeff Carter play hockey for us any more.

He's not even Dubas' player. Dubas could take him away if he wanted. Sully won't stop playing him and our 4th line won't stop being terrible.

I mean, we have to go on a run, but at least the team (especially Sid) seems to have gotten over Jake being traded.

ok. what do you disagree with? i don’t think anyone would disagree that a player having injuries could hurt their career, for instance

well. he’s going to. at least he scores occasionally unlike certain others. he’ll be gone in a month

Maybe......but we'll never know with Sully leading the ship.
No... I think we know now, he's garbage.

100% agree!

Not dumb, just a very honest take, one I embrace and agree with. Some ppl are very fragile. Look at MM after his father passed, was never the same.

Taking a year off for mental issues should have no effect on his career.

We’ve also seen it become significantly more common in the NHL. Knight who was taken in the same draft had problems.

It’s the COVID generation. I bet you see a ton of this shit moving forward given how f***ed up that experience must have been as an 16-20 year old.

No surprise you’re parroting this shit while creaming over Dubas’ lame acquisitions.

Bunting is playing well, the prospects are coming along quite nicely. Thankyou very much.

Poulin is TRASH! He's fragile, not our problem. I don't wish him ill will, I just don't want him around.
