He's got his 7 year contract and two paychecks, I'm not sure why he's not pushing harder to make this team work.

Dude is shooting himself in the dick and asking someone to reload the pistol so he can try again.

Koivunen looks to have the most upside and his progression from last year to this year is pretty good. Don't know much about him.

This board had a hard on for Nieto before and I never understood why. But then it's like Acciari could be better with a different coach. Harkins is awful like he was In Winnipeg so I agree there.

I hope you don't mean the same for Doc, Gruden, and Puljujarvi. I don't mind all 3. Issue is the coach, always will be until Sullivan is gone.

Aren't you reaching a bit there? I mean our minor league teams will be better one would think. Not sure about up here though.

I mean, usually a PPG guy at 22 or 23 can get an ELC even if they weren’t hitting that leading up to it e.g Judd Caulfield. Hell, Rust didn’t even come close. Doing it at 18 is rare. Very rare
 
Maybe tomorrow the purge continues with Smith and maybe Eller for second round picks. But does it really matter. Dubas let the situation control him. He took a deal that doesn't sit well with the room and has a LW that has 2 more years to go.

I don’t see how what Blake is doing in the NCAA is all that more impressive than Koivunen in LIIGA to be honest.

This board got a random chub about Blake even though nobody knew about him before today and his profile is middle six winger. Carolina boards prospect poll has Pronomorev higher at #5 and they’re undecided about Blake vs Koivunen. It’s really entirely possible that what Scott Wheeler or Cory Pronman values vs what an NHL team values is entirely different.

I get that, but he didn't progress from his 1st year. Koivunen is pretty slick. Probably the one I'm most intrigued by.

Please forgive the language, not my fault.

He is just as much of a victim as the rest of the roster of being affected by a dipshit coach. I was vocal of not being a fan of the signing. But from what I have seen of his game, he's fine.

None of these moves matter if Sullivan's still the coach.
 
I think Dumbass could have gotten more than Koivunen,Ponomarev and Cruz Lucius together with a conditional 1st rounder! I imagine that's predicated on Jake signing with Carolina which might not be a slam dunk

Indeed welcome to 2020 when that major turd should have been flushed too… it was beyond obvious then. Now it’s belly achingly laughable like the rest of the franchise.
