buffalo so close to making Mike Sullivan cry right now
He always looks like he is about to cry.buffalo so close to making Mike Sullivan cry right now
We will be using Hextall. It was bound to happen eventually with a rapidly aging core and so much success for so long.
Seems like the start of a tough rebuild like the wings went through. Avoid Ken Holland and it shouldn’t be so bad.
Wish they were so close to getting this clown fired. He's been awful at coaching for three straight seasons including getting completely exposed in the playoffs.
Wish he would've coached team USA so national media could see the idiotic shit he does with his favorites.
I actually like watching Pit games and other than the Habs theyre easy my most watched team in the last 4-5 years I cant really figure out what's happening right now with them at all still early in the season but they just looked so out of sync on that road trip and its continuing
My condolencesWe will be using Hextall.
I don’t think Pittsburgh will ever ask Crosby to be traded. Either Crosby comes to them or they sign him until he retires. The Penguins needed to move off of at least both Malkin and Letang during the 2021 offseason, when it became clear after 3 consecutive 1st round exits that the core was simply not good enough anymore to compete for a Stanley Cup.
They could have even included Crosby in that, and asked him if he would have preferred a trade to a destination of his choice rather than spend the last years of his career on a rebuilding team.
All of this would have been unpopular with the fan base. But the fan base will now be forced to suffer through a team that is going through a very slow death over several seasons rather than accelerating a much-needed rebuild.
You wouldn't be asking him for permission to trade him in the scenario I mentioned.I don’t think Pittsburgh will ever ask Crosby to be traded. Either Crosby comes to them or they sign him until he retires.
that logo is elite thoIt’s that stupid Robopenguin logo coming back from hell to finish destroying the franchise like it started.
In the same way that Joe Flacco is elite, yesthat logo is elite tho
We will be fine.My condolences
Bring back the Crosby to Colorado talk.Pittsburgh needs to waive Crosby. Start sending a message to the players.
I hope this happens because it would be hilarious and the hockey romantic in me would love the (Lemieux-)Crosby-Bedard connection.Oh no- guess we have to draft Bedard
Sullivan is certainly an issue . Outdated style and very predictable. We completely altered our forward lines for reasons unknown and Sullivan's staff can't coach his way out of a special teams bag.
Burke and hextall lost connection. They wanted an old slow soft team and they got it.... maybe trade petry for Marino!!!The Penguins needed to move off of at least both Malkin and Letang during the 2021 offseason, when it became clear after 3 consecutive 1st round exits that the core was simply not good enough anymore to compete for a Stanley Cup.

Deeper issues are an aging slow D. Lack of forward depth. Bonehead moves by hextall ( RR was good ) petry was brutal and Kapanen worse. Marino instantly became a legit top 4 D when you remove Sullivan. Both goalies are average at best and won't steal a game .
Oh then there is Burke..LOL

They had 20 shots.I thought Pittsburgh badly out played, and out coached Buffalo for the first two periods. When their legs got heavy from playing last night they couldn't keep up their system which looks exhausting for the wingers.
They certainly baited Buffalo into dangling turnover after turnover and generated many 2 on 1s.
