He got 2 games for hitting another Ranger player years ago. was also a beauty.

I forgot about that one but remember now that I looked it up. I remember that I thought that one wasn't terrible and being surprised he was suspended. I think this one is worse than that one, but honestly I have no idea what the DoPS thinks is bad or not.

Hard to tell perfectly from the videos but my first impression is both Charging and Boarding by Paternak.

I’d guess a 1-2 game suspension. Default 1 game for the hit, maybe increased to 2 if the DoPS views the hit as predatory.

Bruins fans might not like that Pastrnak got tossed but I don't think Lindgren was expecting the hit at all. His head/body never changes the track it's on and Pastrnak drives his head into the glass. To me that's a 5 minute boarding major and game misconduct all the way especially with what looked like a couple cuts on Lindgren's face afterwards. Pastrnak was targeting him tonight and I'm not sure what started it off or if it even was a previous game. I don't mind the rough stuff as long as nobody is hurt seriously and I don't even think it suspension worthy or not more than one game......hockey is not meant to be a nice game but that was a bit close to the border where a player could get really hurt and I thought it reckless on Pastrnak's behalf. Maybe don't pick the head the next time when someone's in a bit of a vulnerable spot.

How do you feel about swinging sticks at the heads of opposing players?

Last season Lindgren checked an off balance pastrnak into the boards. Nothing too bad - probably a little late but not dangerous. Pasternak then hunted him down and clubbed Lindgren in the head later in the play (think it was the same play). Lindgren went out with a concussion for a game or two. Clearly that wasn’t enough payback. Lined up Lindgren earlier today and then this one.
