He really didn’t- the location of the puck makes it clear to anyone with hockey sense what his body will naturally do. A guy like Pasta can read that from 200 feet away, he knows where he’ll be turning and why. Nonsense excuse.

That's a pretty wild take on it. He can see him in his peripheral but he doesn't turn his head much at all.

Honestly, the amount he turns to backhand the puck doesn't even matter considering how much of his back is exposed the whole way through that play.

Last season Lindgren checked an off balance pastrnak into the boards. Nothing too bad - probably a little late but not dangerous. Pasternak then hunted him down and clubbed Lindgren in the head later in the play (think it was the same play). Lindgren went out with a concussion for a game or two. Clearly that wasn’t enough payback. Lined up Lindgren earlier today and then this one.

The stick hit his back. Most players play past it, but if it catches you right, you can't always do that. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and hope refs get consistent with that call.
