It’s the type of hit I want to see out of the game. But the incongruous way the refs and league deal with boarding/charging/player safety/etc., is extremely frustrating.

Lindgren has been getting crushed almost every game for like two weeks now. All the other ones I can remember were clean hits. By now it's probably one of the first things teams notice when they're scouting the Rangers - I don't know if he's playing through an injury or if there's too much hesitation or what it is

Lindgren's back is to Pastrnak the entire time, never changes direction, never pivots his shoulders, and Pastrnak clearly tries to run him.

Some people here, and they'll defend it to their dying breath: "Lindgren turned into that, it's all his fault."

I think Lindgren turns into the boards at the last second but I don't like Pasta's speed that he came in for the hit. Gave himself no time to adjust to Lindgren turning. Could have easily tacked a charge on that hit and he deserves the 5 and game.

So it is possible there is no suspension here.
