I don’t think it’s just hockey fans. I’ve been to 7 or 8 Bills games now. Pretty sure every one of them had some kind of dust up. Some of them complete with pepper spray which really brings the whole afternoon together in family fun!

It took every bit of restraint from me 5 yrs ago when were went to Van for a game. Fans behind swearing and talking shit around my at that time 7yr old son. It was really bad. I just chose to ignore and explained to my son what was going on and what the outcome could be if I decided to retalitate.

The NFL is by far the king of fights in the stands. I have been to 4 NFL games and have seen more fights than in the hundreds of NHL that I have been to. 99% of NHL fans are great. I even had zero problems in Philly.

Not my best work admittedly. I immediately came up with "Can't blame the Coyotes fans for being upset. It's probably the first time they've seen another person in their section" after I posted that. I'll go into hiding for a few weeks and regroup.

Don’t be a dick in someone’s else’s house. People think it’s ok to come in and be assholes, then act surprised when it leads to that.

It’s dumb, but I’ve come close before as fans have poured beer on friends’ heads unprovoked, screamed in a kid’s face, or just think it’s ok to get in your face after a goal or whatever. I don’t know you, neither do any of my friends.

Closest I ever got was the guy who screamed in the face of my buddy’s kid. She was 5, left us alone, but yelled at her..I ran up and shoved him down, then remembered my wife saying she’d leave me in jail if I got arrested for fighting so I could think about what I did lol. Seemed the guy realized he was out of line and went away. (Was in the concourse, think he thought he’d make his friends laugh, they didn’t)

There's "accidentally" on purpose spilling a little beer and then there's flatout dumping or throwing a beer on someone.

The former is a grey area. If the latter, that's assault and it's open season. I might not be the toughest guy in the building but if somone does that to me or someone i'm with minding my business, im gonna do my best to break their face and send them to the ER.

A lot of times that's how these things start. You get a total piece of shit who crosses a line like that and then someone tries to stand up to them and they don't back down and it takes off from there.
