Parents who force a vegan diet on to their children would face prison under a new law

"who mistakenly believed that a vegan diet was suitable for their little one."

Are you all ****ing stupid? How many times do I have to explain the same thing? The fact that the kid was malnourished has very little to do with a vegan diet. It has to do with a ****** diet. Healthy newborns come into the world and thrive splendidly on a vegan diet every single day. These parents suck. It has NOTHING to do with veganism.

Is that really that hard to comprehend?

Well then the parents' interpretation of veganism was flawed. They clearly failed at parenting.

Calm down TJ. One love

He does seem particularly upset this evening.

Grab a Snickers, TJ. You're not yourself when you're hungry.

I doubt their interpretation of it was flawed. I'm sure they properly avoided all animal products.

Perhaps you mean their execution of a vegan diet was improperly done?

Again, this boils down to poor parenting and has nothing to do with veganism. If they were force feeding their child steak, as was previously used as a hypothetical, we would say "what ****** parents with their ****** nutrition." But since they're vegan (which again, has NOTHING to do with it), it's "what ****** vegan parents with their ****** vegan nutrition."

He died from dumb parents that don't understand nutrition. Not from veganism.

Or do all the obese people that died in their 40's die because they are meat eaters?

People really love hating on a group of people that are trying to be healthier and be environmentally responsible. What terrible people.

Vegan diets are proven to have numerous positive affects. Including, perhaps, reducing cancer risks. And a vegan diet is rarely proven harmful. But an infant needs a balanced diet. He or she needs the calcium found in milk and cheese and the like. They need the protein that comes from meat. Yes, they can get that from beans, but the levels aren’t as high (as a severely anemic vegetarian I battled this one often). They are too young to take vitamins and supplements, so food is the only options for balance.

A vegan diet is suitable for their little one. Their choice of vegan diet was not.

i think even the choice to vegan your kid is not suitable. caring parents can make mistakes too, its a risk u dont want to take. imagine yourself as a 2yo with the average mom and dad... would you rather eat "everything"/at least growth up with a balanced taste or rather be a vegan experiment for the parents. its like rasing ur kid gay or forcing the kid to have a religion, u just dont have to do it.

it comes down to risk on a balanced diet vs risk on a vegan diet

heart fail at 40 vs. struggling to reach 3years after birth.

The first couple of sentences are lies, but the rest is truth.

Forcing your child to love all beings rather than seeing animals as products to be exploited, and forcing your child to be gay are hardly the same thing.

i wrote raising the child gay like raising the kid vegan, there is no force in it. by the way u cant force anybody to love... thats not how it works. kid has to decide if they love or hate, it has nothing to do with u/parents. u should read more closely.

And yes, vegan children struggle to reach three years old.

Holy **** you people are stupid.

again u read that out of context... might check on your daily supplements.

i just compared the risk in both diets or non-diet vs vegan, thats it... no need to be salty !

Hold on. Even worse than what I thought you said, you're actually saying it's a choice whether you "allow" your child to be gay or not?
