Another win but we are still seeing the bottom 6 needs to be tweaked. We are essentially rolling 2 4th lines as our bottom 6 and I don't think Mikheyev is gonna make much of a difference when he comes back.

Yeah, agree completely, had the same thought the other day, but too lazy to post.

The Leafs have a 1st line and a 4th line, then another 1st line and another 4th line.

This still could win a lot of games, if the 1st line is dominant, and the 4th lines with the defensemen, plays air tight, like they did tonight except for a few odd man rushes, Rielly getting caught for a couple of them.

They should stop with that style of hockey and just play low event hockey from now on.

This current Maple Leafs team is built for low event hockey and they can play that game.

That said, I tire of getting "goalied" what seems like far too often. Sometimes I simply get frustrated by the guy's lack of finish, despite their immense talent.

Exciting for such a low scoring game. Flames goalie was good. Nice to see Mathews score in OT. But I don’t remember a game where he misplayed the puck on his stick so many times. Wonder if he is still dealing with something? Great win. Slowly climbing back to the top of the standings.

Best way to describe this game was the Maple Leafs were solid, everyone did their jobs.

Only a couple of really serious breakdowns, that will always happen, on the whole this was a fair result, a win for the home team.

The bottom six were good defensively.

The defense was good defensively.

The top six were good defensively, and off a mistake by a giveaway by the Flames, they broke through for 1 goal to tie it, then the dramatics in OT.

It wasn't a bad game to watch. The Leafs kept driving, and the Flames were feisty.

Willy great game , when did he start working on a one timer . Love it, use it more. It's the first time during an interview that he was sweating and out of breath because of the passion he was putting in that period , I love it. Keep it up.
