Confirmed with Link: Papi in OT leafs win 2-1

I just want to say the Calgary online fanbase seems to be the least annoying of all other Canadian teams

I went to a bar back in the day when I lived there with a Leaf jersey on. It was after Sundin scored in OT over Kiprusoffs shoulder on that beauty slapper just over the blue line.
A lot of chirping from their fans but they were actually great and we joked around a lot. They are usually pretty classy.

Sorry, I'm late!

But the D isn't good though. Campbell has erased a lot of their problems

Every game, opponents constantly getting behind our D
Leafs last 6 games........9 GA. And that includes the 5-1 loss to LA.

They've won 7 of their last 8 with the offense running dry so far - 25 GF in those 8 games.

Take out the stretch from Oct. 22-25, and the Leafs record would be 9-2-1.

15 games in there is very little to worry about other than the lack of scoring. But they are still winning. Jack has played a big role, but the D has as well.

Take out a bad stretch and every team's record would look better. Take out all the playoff game 7's where we don't compete would make us look a lot better as well. Life doesn't work that way though. Pointless exercise.

Leafs tied for 13th. in points percentage.
7-3 in their last 10.

After a poor start, they're getting back to where they've been the past several seasons.

Yeah I had a look at the standings this morning as well. It sure is a long slow climb to get up to around 6th or so, which is where I would expect us to be once again.

Kylington goal was so strange.. beauty move and all but it's always a bit odd seeing a defenceman rushing in on a breakaway

The puck was bobbling so much there he was a bit lucky that it bounced the way it did so he could control it enough. And because it was on edge it was easier for him the lift it over the pad.

That was a crazy burst of speed though. Also I never knew that’s how his last name sounded

Vladar had much more to do this game than Jack did.
Agreed .. that kid played amazing .. da 3 stars of game were bang on .. 1st star Willy 2nd star Vladar and 3rd star Soup .. usually they get it wrong but last night was exactly how I saw it too

I had a feeling that this was going to be a great game and boy oh boy, that was right on the money. People who think you need lots of goals to be entertained should have seen this one, fantastic game!

My favourite game of the season, was a very enjoyable watch.

Frustrating we couldn't bury all the chances, but we played so well you couldn't be mad, and Campbell, what a brilliant performance by both goalies really. Great game.

Lack of secondary scoring is huge ... we need a trade.
The big 4 will go cold ... and then look out ...
