BTW, imagine being Florida, undefeated in regulation and dominate most of the game but still lose.

Is Panarin a smoker or did he also have Covid like Mika ? He is terrible ....no stamina at all . Sometimes I wonder if he will even make it back to the bench . Out of shape or what ??? How many games does it take to get back into it ?

At this point in the season, the points are more important than how the team looks.

both matter, but rarely does a team look the same all season. The year we went to the cup, we were horrendous in October. There’s time to gel.

playing hyper aggressively in the offensive zone is not something this team has done very much in the last few years. It will take time for that to become habit. Especially for a team as young as ours.

y’all need to chill out

Pre game vs Oilers, Flames and Panthers.
"We know we can't be successful when we get hemmed in our own zone for multiple minutes and shifts at a time" Manage the puck and chip it in and out. No north south plays".

Post game. " uhhhhhhhhmmm"

Panarin is 0- 126 this season on cross seam passes to Zib in the O zone.
Plus them long cross ice passes are gassing him...he is played out...he should attempt shorter passes LOL....

The curse of Kakko's point production continues. He set up Panarin beautifully, but of course dumbass Strome had to park himself right in the crease before the play was over.

Doing well . . . he still has to get better. Looks good, good shift/so so shift, etc. His legs do a lot of work yet his head doesn’t drive to the net or rip the shot off. He has to be better. Then the points will come.

He's been taking longgg shifts.

But yes, he is indeed a smoker.

If they were in a 7 game series with these guys last night would have been the one they stole to avoid the sweep. Also they need to get mean protecting Shesty. I still can't get over the first GA.

The Panthers? No. If their fans are anything like us they would want the whole team traded.

yeah, so i don’t imagine they are affected at all. They likely learned a bit. Don’t lapse defensively b/c it’s a power play. Otherwise, they fly. 90+ attempted shots yet, like vs Tampa in the playoffs, hard shots are nice but without a redirection or anybody in front it’s a save.

I was looking for "Player Discussion". He's not really a "prospect" anymore.

Following the logic that Lundkvist and Schneider are "Players"... but thanks anyway.

discuss then. I wonder why that is you don’t and accuse others. Lol. Look around, we do discuss him.

A coach should always err on the side of "we have things to fix". Different from making this board unreadable talking about how terrible this team is. I criticized Igor's play late, but that's one player. I'm not posting every day about how terrible we are.

Some of the takes venture into hyperbole (like “let’s trade Laf and Kakko”) but no reason to get upset at those takes, just shrug and move on. There is a kernel of truth which is, the team isn’t playing well and it needs to be fixed.

Fla is awesome. No Bennett either.

I think this Rangers team needs more size on the backend. I think the offense will come. Really need Laf and Kakko to score though.

Sorry, I missed my own accusation. Wtf are you talking about? Do you think I’m saying folks are racist? Certainly not. Why would that be? Get out of here.

He’s a regular on the team, isn’t he? I asked about player discussion threads, where he didn’t show up (they are a way to sort and read about things on this site, which I use sometimes). You referred me to a prospect discussion, which to me is a weird way to categorize to a regular player. I thought about creating one but the way to tag the threads is unknown to me.

Yeah but goals like that third one make me less confident in saying that. The reason we all hate Georgiev is because he gives up goals like that. Now I wonder would Shesterkin have had the same collapse against Edmonton? I was sure he wouldn't have on Friday and now I don't know.

He single handidly won us the game. He made 40 saves. At the end of the day we won solely because of his. Who gives a shit if we “almost lost”. We won. Move on

Great point. Then both Bread and Zib have to bust it back because there is ANOTHER odd man advantage because of "Poor puck management".
Usually when the brain is short of oxygen you do stupid stuff ....Panarin attempts many that get turned over versus the play that works . He has to start playing smarter or this will eventually come to a head .

Igor pulled the same shit against Pittsburgh last year where we gave up a 2-1 third period lead and he gave up a shit GWG. I remember Hank giving up one of the worst goals of his career with like 5 minutes left in a 0-0 game. I just can't figure out why great goalies play great games and then just lose their focus.

I honestly think Igor lost focus at the end on the play where he was getting whacked at the side of the net with no whistle, you could see him get up and say something to the refs. He was fantastic for 58 minutes but the two late goals were mostly on him. The refs made it clear the Panthers could straight up body check him all game and, frankly, it was disappointing no one buried Hornqvist (aside from Fox early in the game).
