I'm happy they are 7-3-3, the process getting to that isn't good so far.
The 2013-14 rangers were 19-19-2 through 40 games. Learning a new system isn't easy. It takes time. They haven't dug a hole in the standing, which is huge.
This week is crucial. No games until Saturday. Lots of practice time. That is key in learning what Gallant wants. I'm glad he isn't happy, he shouldn't be.
Shesterkin is the real deal. We have a backbone in net. We have an elite 1D. We have a 1C that isn't clicking, but still producing. Kreider looks like a 1st liner again.
The biggest thing is Lafreniere and Kakko getting confidence within the system. If that happens, the sky is the limit.
In spite of the team being caved, they are in a decent spot record wise. If they can figure this out, this is a playoff team.
