After that last collision he was flexing his leg. I think the way that game ended the whole team looked kinda ticked off and not happy despite beating an undefeated team.
It’s a great ending. They got a lesson in “play to the whistle”. I was worried when I saw KAM with a big jolly grin at the start of the third. Great that Florida exposed that. Hopefully the Rangers get that message. Also great we won. And apparently Igor is ok.

Only watched the first period, all I'm seeing is negative here, any positives?
I had to scrub through the game in my lunch break, so I’m not the best person to ask.
But I really thought the Rangers played well. They were more physical than they have been - though in general I’m seeing them improve their physical play steadily all season. (By physical, I mean - mainly - playing *through* opponents rather than gliding and poke checking and deking). And while the physicality led to fewer shots, they made their shots count. (Not to mention having a beautiful goal taken off the board). Also, I was surprised Florida had so many shots. They have a great team. And great skill at both ends of the ice. They get shots on every rush and their forwards back check like demons. Awesome. But that said, I think a lot of their shots are not very consequential.
They are just a better team right now but the Rangers played a very effective game. And also that last couple of minutes appears to have been a mess. I missed that part thankfully :)

I thought Kakko played a decent game. How many points has he had taken away from him this year? Like 3 at least!
3rd in the East is NOT BAD

At least it was corrected and Kakko actually got a point tonight

Edit: I couldve sworn I heard Sam and joe talking about a point correction? Maybe it’s not up yet?

There's no way Shesterkin is the #1 star after that third goal that was f***ing pathetic. I don't care how many saves he made. That third goal was a choke job by him. He obviously played well but you don't give a guy a #1 star when he gives up that third goal. He almost blew this game.

You should change nick to goaliebasher or something.

Take a breath and enjoy the win

Letting Florda shoot so much that they becomes tired. Excellent gameplan.

Shame I didnt stay up to watch this. Could probably have created some diamonds through the sheer force of my clutched cheeks in the third period.

This win felt like a ruined orgasm. It counts as a win but definitely wasn't a great a one. We were so outplayed by a better team, Shesty kept us in it

Yeah, I agree and, knock on wood, I hope we will be a team that is a better fit against the Eastern teams, at least in terms of not falling of a cliff when our game isn’t working. Teams pressure much harder higher up ice which opens up more ice if you can get past the first wave.

Ok, this is weird. Looks like this forum has no Player Discussion thread about K’Andre Miller. I wonder why that is? I only searched back to the thread on Adam Clendenning, but I figured that would cover it.

Anyway, at times I’ve thought he’s a young Kjell Samuelsson type. Others maybe some kind of Pronger-lite. But maybe he’s his own thing. That goal last night was certainly unexpected and amazing. Hope there’s more that will show itself this season.

While people are being quite negative you can see that the team and the players understand that this isn’t a maintainable course of play.

Im glad we are stealing points but it won’t matter three months from now if this team doesn’t figure out how to play hockey and actually control some games.
Better than last year when we kept giving up points then we got hot and it was too late. I haven't watched other teams in the Metro but if Igor plays like this the entire season, Fox, Panarin and Mika are going to score.

So…what was up with the Florida guy sitting on Igor and then hacking his chest with the stick. How was that not a penalty? Let alone allowing the goal… also, one guy - #10 I think. Is that Duclair? - just skated right into Igor at full speed. If the refs aren’t going to handle, where are our “tough” guys. That was some garbage.

Pre game vs Oilers, Flames and Panthers.
"We know we can't be successful when we get hemmed in our own zone for multiple minutes and shifts at a time" Manage the puck and chip it in and out. All north south plays".

Post game. " uhhhhhhhhmmm"

Panarin is 0- 126 this season on cross seam passes to Zib in the O zone.

There are many K’Andre threads btw. At least four.
