This team isn't good enough to get off to a shitty start and make the playoffs. They need to right the ship soon.Still, Giving up 6 goals each to Pitt and Detroit. Awful. Season over.
Totally awful but they did win the last two cups. I think they are allowed a little more of a let down to start the season. I would give them the definite of the doubt vs a team that hasn't made the playoffs and is trying.Still, Giving up 6 goals each to Pitt and Detroit. Awful. Season over.
The posts I have seen the last 2 days are as insane as my above post.
You have Zibanejad who couldn't drive play if you gave him a stick shift and a steering wheel, Lafreniere with the NHL body and QMJHL instincts, and Guru Chris who used to drive play, got hurt a bunch of times, and is now just an ok Wayne Simmonds.
And they're all out there babysitting each other.
That line has to go yesterday. Goodbye. Adios. 86 it. Burn the tape.
Gallant needs to build a time machine, go back, and never use them.
For all the talent they have, it's one my least favorite Rangers lines that I've watched.
Two teams we NEED to overtake to make the playoffs are without 3 hall of fame centers (two for pitt and one for wash). This team isn't good enough to get off to a shitty start and make the playoffs. They need to right the ship soon.

Gauthier is a soft big guy who never scores. He'll be out of the league in a few years. This is the lines I want to see.
Laf-Mika-Kakko
Panarin-Strome-Blais
Kreider-Chytil-Goodrow
Hunt-Rooney-Reaves
Also thought Gauthier was invisible tonight.

Like Stemkowski said on the radio. Laf and Kreider BOTH need to be at LW so they can not both be on line 1. And again have no doubt Kakko is not gonna stick on Panarins line so move him when Blais is back. This is the lines I want to see.

Good thing it's an 82 game season unlike the last 2 years.
Listen Debbie downer, we get a point yes, points matter, this team will get into a groove very soon and will smack opponents around, let them find their legs. The goalies are not the issue, shesty will play more games than Georgiev. We need time to gel and that takes patience. You’re the turkey for coming in here spewing negative bullshit. Some of us are trying to keep a positive attitude.I’m so tired of the “got a point at least”. That’s a game good teams win. Your home opener, ceremony for one of the greatest players in the franchises history, you outplay them for 40 minutes…and it’s “at least we got a point?” God our fanbase is full of turkeys
Expect more! The ownership and FO certainly do. It’s not good enough. Now, we have a 4 game road trip. I can’t wait to see what’s in store! I bet it’s more positive analytics for our you g players without actual, you know, production. We will get a shit performance from Gerorgiev for sure.
Lol it doesn't matter how many goals you give up if you score more goals. 1-0 or 7-6. Both 2 points.
If Julien Gauthier is listed as playing 12 minutes, but made so little impact you thought he was scratched, was he really there?
LOL Gauthier forever. What a donut.

It was sarcasm. It also doesn't mean the season is over after you are 0-1-1 or 0-2 with 80 games left.
Good you can be my belief in this team until i start to believe again.

Honestly it seemed like Trouba just overestimated the passing option, he was playing it as if it was a squared up 2 on 1 but the trailer was far enough back and he was close enough to Heiskenen that he absolutely should've went right at him. Trouba respected the pass too much in a situation where it wasn't really there.Trouba slowed down there. He could’ve caught up Heiskanen easily
