Don't you mean McDavid and Makar?!?!Between Jarvis and Morrow we are certainly blessed as fans of the Carolina Hurricanes.

And Jarvis is an enforcer as well!
Great news. Even if it takes 2 months to get “back” plenty of time before the playoffs. If he's back and in game shape, that's great news.
My question is how will the Staal line be used?Great news. Even if it takes 2 months to get “back” plenty of time before the playoffs.
Our bottom lines could use a shakeup (Patches up with aho and Jarvis, TT to Staal????).
If Svech and Necas are this hot, and appear to be playing well independently of each other, doesn't it make sense to spread the focus around a bit?separating SSJ martdrei svechas seems like a bad idea imo
I kind of feel like the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" saying applies here. There are other things that can be tried to improve the other three lines that I would try first before messing with that line.If Svech and Necas are this hot, and appear to be playing well independently of each other, doesn't it make sense to spread the focus around a bit?
If it was all chemistry between the two like we often see with TT and Aho, I'd tend to agree. But I feel like they are each playing well with Aho on the PP and each creating their own opportunities as well.
Earlier in the process I looked, and Justin Williams came back from his snapped Achilles in 2 and a half months or something ridiculous like that.I hope this doesn’t turn into another Mike Soroka with a guy trying to come back too soon.

Different PP units (although each with Aho at times), and their goals don't have a high % of the other player assisting on them like we sometimes see with Aho & TT.Elaborate on this. They're playing together, no? I guess are you referencing them being on different PP units?
Interesting. I’d roll with jk on 3rd line until it slows down. Line has been fantastic.Different PP units (although each with Aho at times), and their goals don't have a high % of the other player assisting on them like we sometimes see with Aho & TT.
It's not a lot of Necas setting up Svech or vice versa, which makes me think they could do well separated.
Although I also like the idea mentioned in the EDM game thread: maybe Necas is ready to transition to C with Svech, shift Kotkamieni to 3C and Staal to 4C?
You've been on a roll lately.I guess his patch is readier than we thought!
Yeah, right now Svech’s shooting percentage is in the mid-twenties percent. I’d take the odds on that regressing back to closer to his average. Also, while I agree not to break-up Svech-KK-Necas right now since they are going well, I will be very surprised if there isn't a time when that line cools down some because of normal ups and downs in a season or because other teams may start to put their focus on that line vs. the Aho line.
Agree, I think you need to change the structure of that 3rd line. I'd like to see:I don’t see the Nino on the roster if the goal is to recreate Nino - Staal - Fast. External acquisition in addition to Pacioretty or change the structure of that line (i.e. Fast to the 4th), imo.
So the guy was skating today. Anyone think this means we might get him back sooner than expected? Like maybe by the end of year?
