I read that Andersen is back at practice. Any news on how close he is to playing?
Brind’Amour said, almost verbatim, that he’s not very close to playing.

That's a really good sign for him being back in early January
At the same time I want there to be enough time for him to gain chemistry with his linemates before the stretch run and playoffs.Especially if Rod continues his theme of not pushing guys until they're truly 100%. If he's "ready" in mid-Jan, I don't want to see him until early-mid Feb.
Kill him... obviouslyGiven the Canes overall attitude towards bringing injured players back, and sitting on the 2nd best record in the NHL, I'm not worried that the team will bring Patches back too soon, at least from a risk perspective. Only question in my mind is how best to get him back to 100% game shape, and I'll defer to the team on that one, as well.
Nuke him from orbit, it's the only way to be sureKill him... obviously
The obvious solution. BoldKill him... obviously
They love a good tease.
No call up to replace Noesen so far. Patches getting closer
