Quite the stat line lol. Should be interesting to see if anything changes with Lucas Prud'homme going into next season. There will certainly be opportunity with the Attack if they can convince him to come.

Interesting thing with Dean Letourneau is his commitment to Northeastern isn't until the 25-26 season. He's slated to go fairly high in the coming NHL draft, somewhere around the second or third round. Be interesting what direction he heads in with his NHL club possibly having some sway with his destination. He's having a monster year.

He definitely would have had a spot on the Attack roster this season .

Wouldn't be shocked to see him in the OHL next year. If he gets drafted that high to the NHL I can't imagine he plays a full four years in the NCAA(especially if his commitment stays as 25-26 season) and two years of CHL level eligibility and then going pro would look awfully attractive to an NHL club. With the Attack projected grads at the end of this year a player like Letourneau could conceivably play top line minutes immediately. He'd be a huge get for the 06 group and would be a great piece for what appears to be their next contention window.

I believe he's still on the protected list

I think there is someone on here who attends the practices, curious aas to whether Barlow was skating and what the lines will be for this important trip

He didn't practice according to Greg Cowan. He's out with a muscle strain. I would assume he's going to miss the weekend games. It would be pretty tough to come back from a strain and play a 3 in 3 weekend.

That doesn't help. Although you had a good game in London overall. World Jr camp is Dec 10. Hopefully he heals quickly

Alright big trades in the O today.. earth to Dale either catch the train and make something happen to help better us or hope on the train going the other direction with a bit of a sale. I don't necessarily mean make a massive splash but let's show some kinda signs of life, a tinker would probably be even welcomed at this point just something to shake things up a bit . We pretty much no what we have and where we stand atleast by now. I'm sure others agree. Standing pat just doesn't cut it.. and yes I know it is relatively early in the season but a good time to make adjustments is now.

There are teams getting better (sag) and teams getting worse (WSR), so you guys need to be better than at least one more team to get in playoffs. Hate to be the 8th again this year though and play london or kitchener

Only thing I see currently being a realistic move is shipping out a Dman to get Smith and Ethier more involved. Smith has played 6 of 18 and Ethier has credit for 1 of 18 but he pretty much just sat on the bench. I think this next stretch of games will determine what they do as it's a soft spot in the schedule. You can look as far ahead as December 2nd/3rd games against Erie as the likely swing vote. 8 games to show that they want it. 6-2 through those games should be the expectation in my opinion if they think they're going anywhere this year.

For the love of god, please have the team show up tonight. 9 vs 10 in the west, the toilet bowl if you will. If they want to change the narrative it needs to start tonight.

Well that was certainly refreshing. Maybe that kind of offensive output can be a catalyst. Lot of players needed a game like that to get going. Waddick gets off the snide picking up a couple goals, Stewart with an absolutely massive game(I think he actually had 4 goals as I don't think Crawford ever touched the one he was credited with). Nansi with 3 assists and played well. Votary was excellent in the second and third periods locking it down. Just need to carry it over into the rest of the weekend.

Some less than good news from the post game at Bayshore Broadcasting...

BARLOW TO MISS SOME TIME

Colby Barlow was out of the Attack lineup for a third straight game. He is dealing with an upper-body injury. Rumble provided an update to Barlow’s status, saying he may miss “a week, two weeks, or maybe longer.” A bit vague, but it sounds like the Attack captain’s injury situation is more of a week-to-week scenario and it will take some time before he’s ready to return.

Pretty great rebound game. Maybe it could start some kind of run or turnaround for the boys. I will say Windsor wasn't overly strong going into today and they got quite a bit weaker this afternoon. That being said a win is a win and a 12-3 drilling is just that. Feels pretty darn good being on this side of it and it was great to get a few guys finally going. The scoring was widely by commity with plenty of secondary scoring. 8 different guys currently credited with goals which was great change . What a game by Stewart he was on a bit of a tear he absolutely made up for the crappy suspension with that game. All this being said I still say some modifications could be made by dd .but more of this would be greatly welcomed.

Well that was a fun game. Sometimes you need these confidence games.

Yes the Spitfires weren't the team they started the day, and that's something that may seem like a factor in the games result but that is a minor aspect at best.

This game was something that the team truly needed, a game where we just took command of it and flexed our offensive abilities. Good to see Votary get his mojo going in the crease and hopefully he can build off this W. It's good to see what some of the team's depth can do when a key piece wasn't in the lineup. This was certainly a step in the right direction and hopefully this sets the tone for what the rest of the weekend will look like.

With two games remaining on the weekend let's see how the rest of the game plan shakes out. Onward to Sarnia for the boys and another big test, let's see if the momentum train can get rolling against the Sting this could be the nudge weekend this team could use to make it interesting in the western conference.

Who needs Barlow when you have the great Jackson Stewart having a cool 3 goals in the first period LOL

In all seriousness that’s brutal about Barlow. If the team doesn’t trend upwards I’m sure he will be traded to some contending team. And obviously if you trade Barlow there’s probably others gone too. Hopefully for your guys sake he pulls a horseshoe out of his you know what and comes back quicker than expected.

Stewey had a game for the ages.
Nice to see lots of secondary scoring .
I can only imagine what it does for those guys confidence .
Votary's performance may be overlooked , but that is a positive indicator .
His last 3 games, I believe were all mop up duty, and I don't think he gave up a goal.
So this game was huge for him as well.

I feel bad for the Spits, these things happen in junior hockey some nights.

Let's hope the Attack had turned the corner .

Great game by all.

Stellar 29 is right, Stewart should get credit for 4 goals in the first, but I'm sure he's happy with 3, lol. Goaltending for windsor was very bad, and I hate to say it Votary wasn't much better in the first. He did settle down in the 2nd and played ok, I was a little surprised to see the top PP unit out there in the 3rd when you were up by 9 goals, I just think of Karma. Regardless, nice to see Waddick get a couiple too, I think the announcers said it was his hometown. Hope they can carry the momentum on the rest of the weekend

Couldn't happen to a better guy and I honestly think he had 4 goals but no problem. Stewey has been a welcome addition since his arrival here and with his solid more controlled play this year has been playing a solid 3rd line role. A game like this could give him a big boost.

Well that's a pallett cleanser if I've ever seen one! Hope it's not a one-off and guys can actually get going down the lineup. Was nice to see lots of guys getting in on it.

That said, look at a team like Windsor with their resources rebuilding...

On another note, does anyone know who is running the Attack's Facebook page this season? The posts with the weird grammar and hashtags seems like it's being run by ChatGPT...
