The part that gets me here is that Briere says "we assume." It's like Gauthier declined the invitation but didn't give them a reason.

At least Hughes knew why Farrell wasn't at the development camp and when asked, gave the reason.
Didn't expect him to be there, so didn't know he declined, so I didn't even know why he declined

He'd gotten to the NHL for the last 2ish weeks, so assumed whatever they wanted to teach him/tell him to work/evaluate they would have seen/been able to at that point

Cutter Gauthier didn't play in the NHL. He was in the NCAA all year. And still isn't signed.

I meant Farrell. Didn't think Farrell would be there.

Was surprised Gauthier wasn't.

Ah okay. I thought you mean you weren't expecting Gauthier in Philly.

Yea, I can see why you wouldn't expect Farrell to be there. But apparently, there is a reason he's not there.

Unles he knows why, doesn't like the reason, and doesn't want the media to know.

I'm with you or maybe even a Marner blockbuster.
Marner's not going anywhere. His full not trade clause kicked in July 1st and covers his last 2 years. He also won't leave like Goudreau did. Toronto is his home. He's sign for something ridiculous in 2 years north of 13 mil.

Gauthier needs a rest. He's been playing for 11 months. No worries, he will not be going anywhere

When the Domi and Galchenyuk trade went down, I couldnt have thought just 5 years later, both players would have moved around the league as often as they have.

I always love these suitecase packing players trying to convince everyone it's because they are wanted. :sarcasm:

Bruins say they playing it like he's not coming back. But he hasn't made up his mind yet. Right now Boston #1 center is Charlie Coyle
Who did a whole lot of nothing against Florida.

I don't know, Jimmy Murphy comes on 690 once in awhile he generally knows what Bruins are doing. But he hasn't be on in awhile. I have to question if either Bergeron or Kreijci be back? If they come back it's solely for a Cup. Boston has lost a lot of players and in cap trouble. Their farm system is weak and traded their top two picks two years ahead. Not much they can do.
Any word on when Neeley gets out of shock therapy? :sarcasm:
