Ah okay. I thought you mean you weren't expecting Gauthier in Philly.

Yea, I can see why you wouldn't expect Farrell to be there. But apparently, there is a reason he's not there.
Isn’t there a rule that drafted NCAA players can only attend development camp 1-time unless they’re signed to a contract, thus, negating college eligibility?

Was this a case of Briere not being familiar with the rules?

No, Hutson was there last and this year as an example.

I think you might be thinking of the college kids have to pay their way to camp.

They also don't go to the camp in September as school has started

Where did you ses this rule? Hutson, Smilanic, Tuch, Biondi, Smith, Pitlick all attended 2 or more development camps.

90% wanted Zadina (including me - but would have been ok with Ketchup or KK)

Not really.

Now, while you're at it, you can simply delete the Michkov bookmarks, because he has 100x Zadina's talent. It's a lame 1= 1 comparison. I had good reasons to think Zadina would flop. If teams passed on Michkov, it's not necause they thought he'd flop and more has to do with lockerroom dynamics, his character and that Russian thing.

I highly doubt he will bust.

I also did not spot your name in the votes. It's one thing to call back people on their votes when you picked the right one(s), but it's another thing altogether when you don't wet yourself and then do the same.

Pretty fun reading through that thread as we see just how "knowledgeable" our fan base is. Many posters have barely seen the prospects yet make boisterous claims about them.
We see that every year. To be so convinced in one's own opinion (which is mostly based on other people's opinion or only a few games watched) and yet be so wrong.
It will happen again this year.
