Boston going to be major different team this year. Can't see them making playoffs. They in tough division also. They lost some players. Hall to Bertuzzi, Orlov, Bergeron, Kreijci. A lot of talent

Has Bergeron made it official? I wonder if he draws back in later in the season.

Yeah, but they'd need a lot more, like Nylander and Murray moved out if they couldn't LTIR Muzzin
That’s what I said! :)
Murray is dead weight and no way they can unload him. They’ll have to buy him out or trade other depth players. Easiest solution is trading Nylander. Can get something back and clear cap but then who’d score in the playoffs? :sarcasm:

When the Domi and Galchenyuk trade went down, I couldnt have thought just 5 years later, both players would have moved around the league as often as they have.

Domi seems to be purposely trying to sign with a contender or a team that will trade him to a contender these days.

Bruins say they playing it like he's not coming back. But he hasn't made up his mind yet. Right now Boston #1 center is Charlie Coyle

If he was sure of his decision, he should have made it by now. Is he waiting to see how he revocers from his latest injury?

Anyways, It makes me think he's not done barring an unrecoverable injury.

If the environment is right, I wouldn't be surprised to see him signed mid way through the season (Boston only).

Wouldn't be surprised to see Patrice Bergeron again. That was a pretty bitter pill to swallow the way his season and the Bruins season ended. From reading his autobiography, believe Jean Béliveau intended to retire at the end of 1969-70. But the way that season ended with the Habs missing the playoffs for the first time in his career and on the last night of the season influenced him to come back for one more year (that turned out pretty good).

Maybe he could come back later in the season, the way Justin Williams did, saving a lot of wear and tear on the body. He already has his cup and s/b a first ballot hall of famer and maybe physically though he's done, so we'll see.

But the team is significantly weaker IMO.

It was built perfectly to go on a last run... Even if I hate the Bruins I kinda feel sad for them lmao

I don't know, Jimmy Murphy comes on 690 once in awhile he generally knows what Bruins are doing. But he hasn't be on in awhile. I have to question if either Bergeron or Kreijci be back? If they come back it's solely for a Cup. Boston has lost a lot of players and in cap trouble. Their farm system is weak and traded their top two picks two years ahead. Not much they can do.
