Tarasenko had a full NTC. Blues couldn't trade him without permission. They got a lot more than what Buffalo got for Taylor Hall.
Still, NY teams can overcome most no-trade clauses thanks to being a destination city.

Our weapon of choice to counter some of it is featuring destination dudes like MSL who players say they love playing for. And Hughes for the classy way he deals with players and who puts his massive agent experience to good use.

Imagine doing this on your first game back. Love Dach but man its tough letting go of the opportunity to have this in your system.

Bird in hand is worth two in bush, but the bizarre and hateful way certain commentators here referred to Frank Nazar over summer was unnecessary.

Hopefully Dach continues his improved production streak and continues to develop into a protagonist. He’s on page for 53pts this season but his ceiling is higher. Possibly much higher. His cap hit is very good too.

Watching Rangers game last night. They took it to Seattle, up 3-0 first 10 minutes or so. Plus Seattle decent team. Tarasenko makes them Cup contender. He scored on his 2nd shift as Ranger.

Rangers strong. Chytil as third line center you are strong down middle. Their defense, led by Fox among best in league.

What a weird game in Buffalo.
Sabres takes a 2-0 lead on only 3 shots on goal in the 1st period against 11 for the Flames. In the 2nd period, Flames scores 4 consecutive goals within 5 minutes. Galgary leads the game 4-2 halfway through the 2nd period and shots on goals are 30-4 in favour in Calgary.

A prank call line that is more ancient than Porky’s. Never used it myself but who am I to question someone else’s source of amusement.
