Meh. At one point I was expecting a couple of Boston 1sts. This is better than that.

I’ve been pretty consistent in my expectation that we’d get a couple of late 20s picks and a late 50s pick, or their abouts.

This could end up worse or it could end up better.

The Boston offer was probably there. Probably included a cap dump. Also probably didn’t include lohrei or lysell. I bet it was better though. It got taken off the table when Orlov and Hathaway were added. I think Sweeney made the right move tho. He didn’t give up much and improved a lot. I think the chychurn trade would have been flashy and exciting. But also probably robbery.

No reason to be upset until after the draft lottery and the playoffs.

If Ottawa doesn’t make the playoffs and they don’t win the lottery, this is a nice trade for AZ.

I think the odds are pretty decent that Ottawa fails to qualify and fails to win the lottery. We’ll have to wait and see.

For for fans of 30 teams, this is finally over. For Arizona fans, we get to keep on waiting and waiting to see what happens.

In every single way.

If they are on different pairs, Chabot’s minutes will go down.

If they are on the same pair, his 28 minute nights have gotten a lot easier.

Also, between Sanderson, Zub and Chychrun we can create a pair without Chabot to send out against players like McDavid.
