F the Chargers then. Find another AFC team.

That ****ing **********

I was thinking the Rams should just court the Raiders for the second team in Inglewood, and leave the Chargers in the dust.

With the Raiders, maybe the Rams can obtain the 24 necessary votes.

Don't really want them here (can't stand them), but really don't want the Chargers here either if they are going to pull this ****. Lesser of two evils.

According to sources, the committee vote really doesn't mean much. I won't go so far as saying it is meaningless and expected all along as some are saying, but it's really the owner vote that is going to carry the day.

For info the owners on the committee were:

Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, Steelers owner Art Rooney, Giants owner John Mara, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Texans owner Bob McNair.

It is also unclear whether that committee vote was unanimous or who voted for which project.

I would say the biggest impact they could have is on owners that really went in undecided. And once again we have no idea how many that is.

lol what a cluster. It would be so like the NFL to pick the two teams people DON'T want here

I will laugh my ass off if the whole thing falls through...AGAIN.

The Raiders at least have a significant following in LA. Nobody gives a **** about the Chargers in LA and they hardly have any support in San Diego. The Chargers relocation to LA would be a mistake.

#Rams alone to Inglewood has been pulled from the ballot

So it's down to #Chargers/#Rams Inglewood vs. #Chargers/Raiders Carson bids

This was expected also...but interesting that it just fell short with some owners abstaining at this point in time.

As long as it is not delayed until 2017 and it is not just the Chargers.

Panthers visit the Raiders and Rams on the road next season so I just want a local Panthers game to go to...will be peeved if this doesn't happen until 2017.

Prefer the Rams because they are the best fit both from an alignment and fan perspective. Prefer to keep the Chargers/Raiders in the same division.

Feel like nobody gives a **** about the Chargers and they would have to be the only team in town to matter. They will be overshadowed by both the Rams or Raiders in any partnership while most current San Diego fans will ditch them.

They will be the Clippers of LA Football.

Owners will be voting on 2 proposals A) chargers/raiders plan in carson b) rams/chargers in inglewood (jerry Jones proposal)

Other owners have long though Spanos had played game the right way, exhausted options and deserved to be part of an LA solution. On cusp now

The carson project, as been reporting for weeks, had roughly 18 votes as we neared this meeting. Need 24 to pass .

Many owners, even some on LA committee that recommended Carson, believe Inglewood stadium would be superior in and of itself. But more to it

Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora 1m1 minute ago
As 1st reported sat, Jerry's proposal through a curve. Came after many of the prep materials for owners were already printed. But was...'

Allowed to come up for vote. Kroenke has deep pockets and the land. But will that be enough to swing the tide? Would love to be in the room
