??? who cares? It's already over with the giants winning a few WS recently, and the Dodgers not playing a meaningful game for almost 30 years.

For me it goes back to when Bonds was chasing the home run record, and the Dodgers actually pitched to him to let him set the record against them. Dodger teams from the '70s or '80s would have given him nothing to hit and they would have knocked him down or even hit him several (if not many) times. That's baseball, not these current Dodger teams with no passion

Drysdale would have drilled him.

With the Dodgers looking like they're going back into injury problems, I don't see them coming back and making the playoffs.

I had hopes for LA and believe it was Marc Stein who said Whiteside is surely going to LA. What is more embarrassing that that Mozgov contract is the fact that any and every semi major free agent isn't even willing to listen to LA. Jeanie + Jim is such a **** show.

Just crazy what 7 footers make in the NBA. As long as you're a warm body you make 10 mil. These guys have been becoming dinosaurs for years and it's getting worse as teams go increasingly more up tempo. Now we've got two centers that can barely move and a coach who wants to go to that new up tempo style.

I'm just hoping and praying for Doc to somehow put the Big Four together. Anything to distract from what Dean is doing to this team. :shakehead

The sick thing is he is going to end up in Golden State or San Antonio. The NBA might as well cancel the season and have those two and Cleveland play a round robin for the title. Everything else is going to be a waste of time.

Dwight Howard fleeces another team. The big baby is going to pout and collect over $70M for the next three years. When will teams learn that you can't win with him?

Durant to the Warriors. Will they lose 3 games?

The bandwagon will only get bigger now.

Edit: will he delete this?

Kenley Jansen is overrated. I cannot trust him with a one-run lead because he sucks at holding the runner on first. He's got that closer ego that he thinks stolen bases don't matter but the truth is he doesn't really have the stuff to be a true strikeout pitcher. I hope we can sign Chapman next year.

I'm not happy about the blown save, especially against a West opponent but it had been a month since he blew a save, so I will cut him some slack on that but not on blowing critical saves within the division.

also you need to spread that anger around to gas cans like Casey Fien, dude gives up 2 homers and 3 runs last night and now pretty much gives up the game on his first few pitches, if that guy isn't demoted by tomorrow, something is definetly wrong

I can't cut him some slack since it was his weakness that cost the Dodgers: stolen base. Like mentioned, he's not a great strikeout pitcher that can just ignore the running game. He just can't be trusted with a one-run lead.

Lot of money for a center who sat on the bench in the playoffs.

A little late in responding to this garbage but my goodness Lakers are becoming the biggest joke of the NBA. Can't believe they gave this stiff this much money. No words.

Considering the deals that are being handed out with the new salary cap (which will rise even higher next year), it's probably not as terrible as it seems. Plus the Lakers have to overpay guys to come to a rebuilding team. Mozgov, Deng, and Calderon will serve as mentors for the young guys.
