Having an NFC team and AFC team makes it easier to root for both teams. I would think that would be the logical choice.

If you are rooting for anything involving Jerry Jones, you need to take a step back

I seriously can't stand any of these clowns.

Dude, if a real life Darth Vader had plans to bring the NFL back (especially if it's the Rams) to LA, I would be rooting for him. I'm in "IDGAF" mode right now.

Exactly what the owners want to hear! :D

Step right up and plunk down your $10,000 seat license fee and god knows how much more for tickets...

First round of votes completed. Rams/TBD in Inglewood gets more votes than Raiders/Chargers in Carson. Nobody at required 24 yet.

Writing officially on the wall for #Chargers Dean Spanos: Get on board w/ #Rams in Inglewood or burn it all down.

You have to think that the Chargers have a piece of the Carson stadium. Which of course makes it a better deal for them. Where it's been rumored they would be a tenant in Inglewood.

Suffice to say, the pro-Carson recommendation of the NFL's L.A. committee didn't play a big role with the rest of the owne

BURN IT DOWN! BURN IT DOWN! :devdance:

Maybe they want the Carson stadium because of its proximity to South Central where the Raiders fanbase is very strong. Either way, the Chargers lose. They will play second fiddle to whatever team is joining them in LA.

Another thing to consider is that unlike Kroenke and Spanos, Davis actually prefers not to relocate. If the NFL promises to take care of him and find a way to keep his team in the Bay Area, I'm sure he'll step aside and allow the Rams and Chargers to relocate.

Actually, the more I think about it, I think Spanos should step aside and let the Raiders be the tenant in Inglewood and then, as a consolation prize, get the NFL to swing a pile of money his way to get his own stadium built in San Diego...

The #NFL owners began voting process with each proposal voted on. Inglewood #Rams vote was 21-8-3. 21 for. 8 against. 3 abstained. #fox2

Like I said, Carson is Raiders terrority. They would be the biggest draw as a tenant in a stadium bankrolled by Spanos. In Inglewood, at the very most, the Raiders would draw equal to the Rams. Not much financial benefit there as opposed to Carson. It seems like everything depends on Spanos as the NFL seems to be in his corner although for the life of me I can't figure out why.

There can be many reasons. But I'm sure not least is he's not run out of town before and done so within the last 20 years. I know it's been slightly longer.

First round of votes was 20-12 in favor of Rans/TBD in Inglewood – short of the required 24. LA committee now meeting with Spanos and Davis.

uh oh

One of the keys to the first ballot is it was secret. That allowed many who had promised to vote with #Chargers to switch.

The NFL's LA Committee working now to sort out these matters and potentially dissolve the Raiders/Chargers pact.

Judy Battista ‏@judybattista 1m1 minute ago
there is strong opposition to the Raiders in LA among owners, I am told.

And there is a definite sense at least the framework of a global settlement will be done tonight.
