Moncada will never be near the sox best player. He'll be a solid piece, but he doesnt hit for power and cant run the bases. If he can get his ops over .750 thats probably about the best the sox can hope for. They need robert vaughn, anderson and jiminez to stay healthy and be their 4 best position players.

Moncada should be gone ASAP

We have viable replacement in Burger who is outperforming him by wide margin this year and is younger

See if some team is stupid enough to still believe Moncada is worth a damn and pull trigger on trade

Nobody is taking his contract with how he's hitting right now, and if he turns it around, you don't want to trade him anyway He's owed over 50M in the next 2.5 seasons.

The huge issue right now is that a lot of these guys are good but not great players.

Anderson was having a great season before he got injured.
 
Looking at all these promising young hitters we have I wish more of them weren’t so inept defensively/in the field. Robert is really the only one that you would consider gold glove material. The quartet of Eloy, Burger, Sheets, and Vaughn makes it tough to assemble a lineup without holes/weaknesses in the field. Too many DHs.

I mean, vaughn and sheets are bothe first basemen playing the OF. Eloy shouldnt be playing in the field at all. Already hurt himself once in the outfield last year and once running to first this year.

Cubs bullpen really blew it last night. Cubs've been relegated to background noise for me at this point when they're on. Some teardown.

Hopefully they're good again by the time my soon really gets interested in baseball.
 
Also, at the risk of pissing off Courtney, good luck to the Wolves in the Calder Cup Final.

I'd be tempted to break out my old Wolves sweater if not for the fact it's 90+⁰ out, damn it.

12-0 White Sox in 9th

For amusement

Tigers SS pitching 7th
Tigers C pitching 8th
Tigers 2B now pitching 9th

They are outpitching the Tigers SP and most of BP

And its 13-0 White Sox
