Love it for Oakland, Cespedes just isn't that good of a hitter, great defender though. Still, you get an ace for a guy like that and take it any day. That rotation is going to be very tough to beat. I think the A's are going to finally get that ring.

All I know is that I'm rooting for an A's/Orioles ALCS and a Nats/Pirates NLCS.

In other news, I just gave all four teams the kiss of death...

Isn't that good of a hitter? He's one of the better power hitters in the game. He's hardly elite but he's an all-star for a reason.

Wow.. Passan is reporting it's Milone for Sam Fuld straight up. If true, that's a hell of a deal for the Twins.

No he isn't, he's a pretty good power hitter. I think his career high is 26 home runs. He's not even in the top 25 in the league in home runs this year. Last year he was 23rd in the league in home runs. Cespedes production does not match his reputation.

He's been hurt for brief stretches every season. His 162 game average is 29 homer's per season playing for Oakland. Those numbers are gonna go up playing in Boston.

If you're and outfielder and your OBP is hovering around .300, you better be slugging over .500, preferably over .550. Maybe that will change in Boston. I just think the guy is way overrated and I was really surprised he made the allstar team. He is great on D though but usually that is a non factor in allstar spots.

Like I said, a pretty good home run hitter. I think he's on pace for 26 this year. He's not even the best power hitter on the A's.
