I suspect he was watching on a single device, switching between services.
Who in the world wants to watch on multiple devices? I guess I could get 3 smaller monitors and set them up bar style...but I really don't prefer that viewing experience in my house...

My room has one tv. If I want to switch from Hulu, ESPN+ , Fubo or whatever...I have to go to a home screen and switch services, 3 to 5 clicks later I'm in the service...then I have to look for what I want to watch. It's so archaic, then the occasional buffering...when it happens during the game I literally throw things...are you kidding me...I feel like this how people that live off the grid jerryrig a system to be able to watch TV ..this is Inuit in Nunavut type stuff.

None this stuff happens with Cable...I talked to my remote and simply said "New Jersey Devils", "NCAA hockey", "NHL hockey" ...I got stats, game times, schedules and channels...I could tie a fly drink a whiskey and relax.

A laptop, TV, and phone are difficult to keep eyes on intermittently?

I'll have the Giants and Devils on at the same time every Sunday they're playing at the same time for the rest of the season.

f*** cable and their blackouts and/or needing to purchase useless packages just to watch a few games.

I could go the VPN route but f*** their blackouts too.

I spend enough on hockey as it is.

That and a fire stick really isn't that hard to navigate. It even has a voice command option if 3 clicks pisses you off that much.

I would never watch a hockey game on a laptop, tablet or phone unless I absolutely had no other choice...like when I'm upstate NY fishing and staying in a cabin I'll watch on a tablet... it's not enjoyable to me. I don't feel like I can digest the game and see the play develop in the same way that if I was in my comfortable chair watching on a big screen. It becomes background noise that merely keeps me updated on the score...I like to see nuance...I like to when the Dman turn his shoulders to cut off the forward coming down the boards ...if you can pick that stuff up easily on a 10'' screen more power to you.

I'm quite nearsighted so I actually kinda prefer it at times as glasses are a pain in the ass to wear at home.

If I have the Giants and Devils on at the same time the red and the black are definitely on the laptop with my full attention. Glancing up at the football whenever it matters.

But it takes all kinds.

Inglorious Basterds or bust.

Aldo the Apache, the Bear Jew, Archie Hicox and Hans Landa might be the best characters he's ever created.

Landa was a fantastic character and Waltz absolutely nailed that performance. I know Tarantino is polarizing but if you are willing to do some suspension of disbelief and view them all as very dark comedies they are entertaining.

I just looked up with google translate the meaning of Grubauer.

Apparently it’s German for bad goalie or albatross.

What are the chances of that?
Your stuff is always entertaining but this may be the funniest thing I've read from you. Top notch work.

It's wild how bad grubauer became the second he put on a kraken jersey lol
All I heard about in the preseason was how great he had been and how good their goaltending was in the preseason.

And then the second the games start to matter (or should I say roughly 2 periods after the games start to matter) the clock strikes midnight on Grubauer and the pumpkin returns.

The redwings are much better than Philly. A first period like last night and the game will be over very fast.
The Leafs are much better than Montreal and they still lost to them.

If the Wings were that good they wouldn’t be scoreless against MTL through 2 periods.

What are the best foods to boo a coach? I picture nachos breaking and getting all over while you yell.

Hopefully I can finish them before the home opener intros start, lol.

I mean goaltending is the ultimate equalizer, I was on board with the argument that Blackwood couldn't be as bad as he was last year but clearly we can't trust him until he proves otherwise. Praying Vanecek starts tomorrow.

Absolutely agreed. I highly doubt it’s scoreless because MTL’s stellar defense isn’t having any breakdowns or causing odd man rushes.

I know these stats are not popular around here, but MTL xGF is 0.76 and their xGA is
3.37 (!!!) through 2 periods. That’s crazy good for Allen.
