Nah, I legit think this is what they are. Halak was also an atrocious signing, dude's 41 with no lateral movement even though he was fine tonight. They're paying for the insane puck luck over the past decade they've had, it's also awesome for the Devils to be this good at the same time.

@Bleedred softy if the night alert. Really bad goal by Nylander agsinst Amderson k. Carolina. He’s skating to the goal with a defender and the goalie must have been looking at the players rather than the puck which just rolled through him and I don’t think Nylander even attempted a shot

He looked like a f***in statue on that goal.

Very probable softy of the night, considering there’s only one more game tonight.

And with the goalie matchup in that one, it’s highly unlikely ELITE goaltender John Gibson (who the Leafs totally should have traded for, by the way, what are they waiting for) John Gibson can top that one tonight.

It was a weird game at times. Canes just devoted so much to trying to stop MATHEWS Marner etc that they forgot to create their own offense. It’s like they expected to win 1-0

His season last year reminds me of the season Gionta scored 48 goals and never even topped 30 goals after that. Kreider is a very good forward but he's never been elite nor will he be.

Kreider reminds me of Brady Anderson, a former major league baseball player who played the majority of his career for the Orioles. He was a decent player with a .256 career average and 210 homeruns in a 15-year career. In 1996 he hit 50 homeruns - the most he ever had in any other single season was 24 and 21.

If Ranger fans and their organization think Kreider is going to repeat last season, they're sadly mistaken.

Rags got insane luck and career years from guys last season, they should have lost to the Pens in 5 but got the most undeserved series win I’ve ever seen. Nobody should be surprised they aren’t rolling over teams because they simply aren’t that good.
