Shannon Hogan and Thomas Hickey talking about their Aho’s height and his “long stick” and if Hickey “had a longer stick than Aho” and Hogan then said “I’ve seen you both yours is longer”

I have no idea how they both kept straight faces, I’ll do my best to find a video of it.

LOL! Hickey said his is about 4 inches longer than Aho's.:laugh::laugh:

Flames are absolutely flying out there tonight. Will be a tough one again tomorrow.
OR they'll be exhausted and it would make things a bit more manageable for the Devils, especially in the 3rd period.

Want them to absolutely beat the Isles in Regulation to keep them off the scoreboard in the standings and away from us.

I’m not sure if it’s the Flames playing better against the Isles than when we played them , Or if it’s the Isles playing like dogshit?
WTF is up with Zadorov …. Guy thinks he is Makar now.

Isles look like a good team one night and an AHL team the next.
I don’t get it . They look like shit tonight. Yet they have been out scoring teams and score at a decent rate . But I have yet to see them play well this year.

I want the Flames to win but at the same time , I don’t want their players to stop slumping (Huberdeau , Toffoli , Lindholm 1st line has been shit all year) .
Backlund is on fire right now.

Goddamn it....of course Rooney commits a stupid penalty.

Flames better kill off this penalty (next period) by that dumb s--t player. Do not want the Isles to get any sort of momentum going.

They would be going into tomorrow in full must win mode if they dropped this game.

Them winning tonight is fine.

Is LackSadaisical the Canadian translation of lackadaisical or something?

Butch Goring just said it and Ken Daneyko says it all the time.

I don't know how both of these guys Archie Bunker that word so badly. I guess I can understand Butch a little bit, as he's in his 70's and I have experienced some older people I knew that started to really butcher words as they got older, but I don't know if he's always said it like that or what.

I'm not even gonna watch the rest of this Flames/Islanders game

The Flames have sat back and done nothing the whole period but stay stuck in their end and defend.

The West may be historically awful this year. That has me a bit concerned as 6 of our wins are back the West.

Well markström sucks. 3-3 isles tie it in 59 secs or so.
Ugh Calgary
Jesus, seriously? I turned it off right after 3-1.

All they've done all period is sit back and do nothing. They were asking to have it tied.

I'm pretty sure they're gonna lose this game and if they do, we really need to beat them again tomorrow. They've done A LOT of losing lately.

I'm not concerned one bit.

That Pacific division is a complete shit show. Calgary should be a top-3 team in that division (which is already weak) and have a pretty good record, especially with being able to feast on the Sharks, Ducks and Canucks and even the Kraken (who are somehow in a playoff spot right now with Martin Jones starting almost all their games). Edmonton really should be strong if they ever get it together and ever get some saves.

F*** off, Calgary.

I hope the Devils run you out of the f***ing building tomorrow.
They should be a good team, but they also replaced Tkachuk and Gaudreau with guys that are 3-4 years older than them.

Huberdeau is 4.5 years older than Tkachuk and Kadri is almost 3 years older than Gaudreau.

Got to love Brendan “truth bombs” Burke, he admitted Calgary were “vastly the better team for the majority of the game” lol. (And also he made a joke about no home advantage for the Isles last season.)

It was in the context of shit going badly for Calgary on this losing streak and right now, which again is true.

This Isles team isn’t that good but they been pulling points out of their ass by getting a surprising amount of scoring and goaltending is making up for the now dodgy team defense. A win or even OT point here would continue that.

I turned the Flames/Islanders game back on.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Islanders win this in regulation. It certainly feels that way right now.

Can the Flames even get the hell out of their own end?
