Oh god, just crunched the numbers, feel free to fact check me on these, as I did them by hand and head. I had to do Campbell's by hand and head because he played 7 playoff games and there's no simulator on the NHL website to filter out regular season + playoff games since a particular date. At least not to my knowledge there isn't.
Jack Campbell from December of 2021 till now has an .893% save percentage. That's 39 regular season games + 7 playoff games.
Alex Nedeljkovic from December of 2021 till now has an .891% save percentage. That's 48 games, all regular season.
I didn't even bother calculating Blackwood in this time frame, I'm sure it's even worse, but he's only played 23 games since the start of December of 2021, which is only half as many as the other two guys.
It's amazing that Nedeljkovic has even been given over 40% of the starts in Detroit so far this season, with Husso having 2 shutouts already and having performed ASTRONOMICALLY better. I'm sure there's been a couple of back to backs already, this is one of them, but that's still a joke. I couldn't believe he got the random Buffalo start with days between games, where he got torched for a touchdown and 2 point conversion.
The Red Wings should be playing Nedeljkovic right now about as much as the Capitals have played Lindgren or the Canucks have played Spencer Martin. His only game even close to respectable this year was ''Fire Lindy'', which was his season debut.
