I need to do a split of his play since December of last year (including playoffs, which he stunk in that series and was outplayed by Vasilevskiy who wasn’t super sharp himself) or whenever it was that his play careened to a watery hole. I think it was December.

Was he in the lineup? He’s been a healthy scratch most of the season and the few games he has played as seen like 6 minutes of ice time.

He’s clearly not ready for the NHL and isn’t better than the options they have. I guess they want him around and practicing against the team a bit, but he is going to have to be sent back the Jrs eventually. He would probably be in the AHL if they had that option.

They can’t because he was drafted out of the CHL. He has to go stay in the NHL or be sent back to Jrs. (Without the ability to recall).
