I haven't been able to watch since the NJ game/our 3 game win streak. By my understanding, sounds like the dominant play has continued and its just a bit of puck luck leading to a few losses since then.

CAN'T WAIT FOR TONIGHT!

Looking for a big game from Kasper.

Goal, Assists, Fight.

* Edit Also want to see if the Johansson/Gustavsson pair works well.

"Remember that great aunt you had as a kid who was into alien pyramids and numerology? Well tonight dear old Auntie Poppy would be having a field day as the Red Wings show up in the famous "Second City" of Chicago. It's the second season in the pros for the Blackhawks' young star Connor Bedard, the visitors from Detroit have the second longest playoff drought in the NHL, and this will be their second game in the month of November, which is the second to last month in the year. Well, all of that might have excited your dear Auntie Poppy, but the one thing that will excite the Red Wings tonight will be not ending up second on the score sheet at the end of the game."

Feels like forever since we played Buffalo. Mrazek is in for them likely. He's usually good for a few softies. I'm pretty sure I'm beginning to think why our PK is bottom feeder this year is Chairot and Petry pairing. Something needs to change.

Don't think it's that for PK. for ES it sucks.

I just don¨t get why don¨t they use Holl as PK specialist. He had great career numbers from Toronto and his Red Wings numbers from small usage aren't bad either.

Petry is the wrong guy at PK. Just totally wrong. LD should be wither Ed or Chiarot, and RD either Seider or Holl.

Petry was once a grea PP quarterback, I don't get why aren't they using him there.

1st pair
Seider - Norris role, both PK and PP
Edvinsson - PK role

2nd pair
Chiarot - PK role
Petry - PP role

3rd pair
Holl - PK role
Johansson - no special teams role

7th defenceman
Gustafsson.

It would be so easy to put them on their strengths.

To make it even better, use Chiarot-Holl together as defensive zone pair, and put Johansson-Petry to offensive one pair, to maximize their skill.

Edvinsson - Seider should be used as hybrid, both as secondary o.zone or d.zone pair, with heavy minute loads.

Coming off a home win with three full days for practice/rest. Short trip to Chicago for a Kane/DBC homecoming. No changes to lineup other than possibly third D pair, goaltender. Flu bug should have run its course by now. Outcome can't be predicted, but there are no excuses for anything but a sharp effort.

I've gotten a bunch of the 1-goal wins I wanted them to prove they can get this season. Now, like you guys, I want this game busted wide open.

I predict they come out cold and get scored on early, then man-up and grind out a 5-1 win.
