If Tampa doesn't turn it up they're going nowhere.
They're getting badly outplayed in just about every period of this series so far.
They didn't even get outplayed this badly by the Rangers in the first 2 games (or any games that series) of that series. They got outplayed, but not by this much.
And with that said. I can't believe ANYBODY in their right mind (right mind meaning not living in a constant state of fear) thought the Rangers would beat Colorado if they got here to the SCF.
Shesterkin isn't gonna help them having to make 50 saves a night while they got 25 on Kuemper/Francouz. He'd probably steal them a game, maybe two at the most, but that would be it.
The Rangers could have easily lost this series in 5 games with Shesterkin playing .925%-.930% and Kuemper playing .880-.890%. If they're outshooting Tampa like this, it would be even worse for the Rangers and all the craters them and their overrated coach just love playing.
I hope this isn't a sweep.
I think it'll change a bit once we have a game in Tampa, but I also thought Tampa would come out a lot better in this game.
Tampa could still make a game of this, especially if Kuemper falls asleep from lack of any kind of action.
I highly doubt it'll be a sweep, but with the way they're playing it certainly looks like it could be with what we've seen so far, but I find it hard to believe it will end in a sweep.
