And I should stay on topic?
Go back to calgarypuck.

The cap's been around since 2005 and the Oilers still cannot figure it out. Whoever their capologist is should be fired immediately.scouting has not been bad--the problem has ALWAYS been development
2nd problem is we traded top picks for literally nothing
the biggest issue is we have no idea how to work the cap right
hey man, i agree with you 100%.To be fair, most of the really pissed off and passionate fans likely left 5 minutes before the end of the game. My voice was already gone and had 0 f***s left to give.
The team is a Jekyll and Hyde embarrassment worthy of all the derision it gets. Including the primadona stars that everyone fawns over. I'll say it again, I'd trade every single one of these soft losers for the 2006 team.
Its cute that Stauffer thinks that 1 defenseman and Sam Lafferty is going to magically fix this team.
Torres and Pronger would be suspended 80 games a year if we were playing in 2023.hey man, i agree with you 100%.
How many people here remember that team? Pisani clutch. Stolls one timer. Torres was a prick. Pronger. Hemsky. Smyth. 100000x more character than this group
True they looked bad in that game but their record thus far this season is pretty decent? This is the same team that stood around and got ass-blasted 7-2. They're bad. And them making the playoffs over the Oilers and Flames is peak hilarity.
This road trip is gonna be ugly.
They can’t wait until the week break to rework team systems and can’t wait until the deadline to change out some underperformers for players with some defensive acumen.
Yeah, this snowflake culture would make sure they were suspended.Torres and Pronger would be suspended 80 games a year if we were playing in 2023.
Yeah, where is the team who played in Seattle? We actually play like an NHL team on the road though. We only do this at home. I can’t wait for road trips.
If we could play all remaining games on the road I’d take it at this point.
Talking about the organization fart catcher who's been incessantly bragging up this team's cool stash of first round draft picks? That like no other competitive team has?? Even an NHL analyst with midget hockey pedigree can't polish a turd that the team on-ice left and made such an obvious mess. He's another poor hire who has a job for life after stumping for the public funded ice palace.I was surprised to see Bob rip this team after the 2nd period.
or the constant headshots they liked to deliver, kinda karma that prongers career ended up a hit that he loved to make.Yeah, this snowflake culture would make sure they were suspended.
The road team is what we should be warts and all. At home they play at 60% at best. Way too cute way too casual. We actually play like an NHL team on the road though. We only do this at home. I can’t wait for road trips.
If we could play all remaining games on the road I’d take it at this point.

We're so unused to actual good drafting around these parts. The Lightning's roster is littered with picks they found in later rounds. Hell that Yanni Gourde guy that just clowned us went undrafted. We need to just call it what it is -- the picks post McDavid f***ing suck.
lol. Enough with putting lipstick on this fat ass pig, they suck.
Imagine that was the Oilers rebuild, like it started in 2016 and those were the players they got out of the draft. The NHL would have to give us Bedard just as a mercy pick.
Puljujarvi-Benson-Yamamoto-Bouchard-Broberg-Holloway-Bourgault make Paajarvi-Hall-RNH-Yakupov + Eberle look like the 80s Oilers.
2 years younger Keith and Smith might have been enough for another run. There is absolutely no veteran leadership on this team and the coach is a soft p***y. Barrie? Ryan? Lol.
Not even close.I think I've calmed down... This is still the year, right guys?
Oilers didnt have a good start to the season in general or at home. They've been bad after a hot start. They put up some stats at the 1st intermission, Seattle had like 1-3-1 in their last 5 road games too or something.
That lightning team also misses on more first round picks than most teams. We're so unused to actual good drafting around these parts. The Lightning's roster is littered with picks they found in later rounds. Hell that Yanni Gourde guy that just clowned us went undrafted.
Part of the problem too is the inability to get proper value for any good players we do have. We have literally nothing to show for MPS/Hall/Eberle/Yakupov. All of them turned into thin air. Those two picks for Reinhart... The AA trade... So much value wasted.
yeah, if you look at a box score here and there, you will see TO score 5/6 goals and no top guys contribute. 8 years in and a top heavy rosterIt's just a shitty built roster.
Who's the "vet leader" on Colorado? Toronto? They don't really have one either. They just have far better built rosters because they can draft and/or win a trade.
nah, their defense is light years better than the Oilers and they actually have depth this year and good players on their rosterThis is the same team that stood around and got ass-blasted 7-2. They're bad. And them making the playoffs over the Oilers and Flames is peak hilarity.
Bob eviscerated Bubbles Bouchard just now. Bout time.
It was just “one of those games”. We weren’t in the right mind set. Still close, lots of games remaining, getting healthier. Learning experience.I think I've calmed down... This is still the year, right guys?
They more than make up for it in later rounds. That lightning team also misses on more first round picks than most teams.
He is so bad lol. I get waiting it out, but when you are in a window to win, waiting is not in the cardsBob eviscerated Bubbles Bouchard just now. Bout time.
