True, but in Spector's case there was no payout.. he just made a prediction based on info available to him.This is kind of the problem with gambling and betting isn't it? Just because someone is favourited in odds doesn't make it a guarantee. Like if the odds were 60/40 Dallas isn't doesn't make you insane to bet on the 40, it just means you would get a better payout if you take the underdog.
I guess he could've taken Edmonton to please our fan base and go against the grain.. payout being considered one of the wisest analyst around if the Oilers who no one else picked pulled through.
