This team is a tough one to figure out…

So awful early on. And now a complete 180 they simply won’t lose. They have incredible top end talent….but the depth still looks awful on paper compared to other contenders. Specifically the bottom 6 and the Dcore beyond the Ek/Bouchard pairing.

I suppose some of these guys must be exceeding expectations and performing better than the average neutral fan like myself might assume just seeing the names on paper and not watching all their games. But will it last/is it sustainable? Can we really expect the role players/rest of the roster outside of McDrai/RNH/Hyman/Ek/Bouchard to keep up this caliber of performance??

IMO despite this current streak I just can’t see them making a deep playoff run and getting to the SCF unless they add at least one more legit middle 6 forward and possibly another depth defenseman too.
