Almost Traverse, summer went by quick this year. We need to make at least the second round every year so the summer feels short rather than all those years of missing the playoffs.

Maybe summer went quick for you, but down here it's been 100°+ outside for the past couple months, so it's been a boring, indoor climate controlled kinda summer for me unfortunately. Hopefully they stream Traverse, I think Detroit usually has cameras in there. Not sure yet if the Stars are even planning on streaming preseason games but I hope they do

All games for Traverse the last two tournaments have been streamed, I expect the same this year.

As for preseason, probably the same BS as every year where Stars or the teams they play (St. Louis, Arizona, etc.) don't broadcast like the more popular Canadian + East Coast teams. Maybe we get a online stream for the game in Austin and one home game.

If Jani starts the season injured and on LTIR the team could afford to carry 2 extra forwards instead of just 1 while he's out with still ~400k capspace left . Meaning it wouldn't be hard to make up the used capspace once Jani is ready. Giving a prospect be it Stankoven or Bourque or whoever a shot at NHL games early in the season to see it they're ready.

I saw on R/DallasStars that the Stars have not released details of how/where to watch the non-nationally televised games. One user speculated that it's due to the Bally's bankruptcy.

Nobody knows yet if Bally's will still exist in a month.


At this point, I'm not even going to attempt figuring out how to watch next season until a few days before the opener. Trying to do it any earlier could easily just end up as a frustrating waste of time and money.
