- Fire AV already
- Demote that lazy ass Kreider (so sick of his lethargic efforts)
- Hank is getting outplayed by every opposing goalie we face
- Nash is DONE
- Shatty has been a disaster so far
- is Skjei still on this team?
- Enough already with the horrible starts
- We desperately need someone who can finish, you know a sniper for the 8th year in a row.

Tanking is not an option and would be a total disgrace to the logo IMO..

Not only do I agree, but - I mean this is just my opinion so whatever - but these guys are professional athletes and have been highly competitive their entire lives. Even if they got a directive from management to tank, I can't imagine that would go over very well.

We couldn't do it if we tried.

We had 102 points last year and I still don't think there's any way this team is worse than that team.

I LOVE it when someone's post is made even better by reading it in the voice of their avatar - that's the second time this week! Thank You!!!

We're not bad enough to land a top 3 pick. Even though we've been absolute garbage through 10 games, I think at worst we finish .500 or slightly below .500. We still have some good players on this team that'll eventually pick up their game.

Doesn't help, right?

I mean he's not the ONLY problem but he's probably below .900 now. It is what it is.

Coming into this game Hank was .928 over the last 6 games. Hopefully he can put this shitshow behind him and continue that trend.

EDIT: BUT..I wouldn't put it past JG at this point..
I agree this team won't tank. Unfortunately, it won't/can't trade parts like Nash to give us more picks in the upcoming draft(s)

This is like the 5th or 6th game in a row our defense was the furthest thing from the problem. So that's kind of good.

I think we've just had terrible luck shooting (for the most part) and Hank has had a garbage start. Call a spade a spade.

Agreed 100%
I do however believe that they have completely tuned out AV at this point.
The teams frustrated which is more than obvious.

Serious question, but why does it always seem like the "stats guys" think the team is terrible and lucky when they're winning (see all of last year) and good but unlucky when they're losing (see this abortion of a season). Why are these statistics so divorced from the eye test?

Doesn't the 31st place team have like a 15% chance to land the 1OA pick?

Colorado didn't even land a top 4 pick last year. You can't even tank anymore.

Because the stats are just shot attempts and when you are always trailing you are destined to outshoot your opponent even if you're really not that good of a team at all.

Score effects are huge.

Come the trade deadline, If it's guaranteed that Nash isn't going to resign for a reasonable price then you trade him.
He has value. Maybe not right now but when teams need that one piece for the playoffs?
Some team will bite..
