Didn't they pick up Coleman the same year with another 1st round pick? Or am I remembering that wrong?
No you're right.
Nolan Foote (a recent 1st round pick) went with that draft pick for Coleman.

Buying out Goodrow doesn't give us enough space to sign Tarasenko to that deal.
It's his last big contract. He's going to want to get paid. I don't see him taking even that much of a discount, especially if he plays well for us.
Not necessarily. He can still take his spot at the circle and put tarasenko on the right side.Except now your moving Zib to the middle where he'll rarely touch the puck.
only seen him very little this year. Have you watched him much?
Artemi Panarin exists. Not necessarily. He can still take his spot at the circle and put tarasenko on the right side.
Would be fun to bump that thread now.Well, we finally got the guy I wanted 10th overall in 2010.
I always thought people wanted Cam Fowler instead of McIlbustWould be fun to bump that thread now.
With what cap space?Rangers in big on Schenn and Chycrun no question.
He only has to beat out Harpur, Robertson and Zach. What are the odds the Rangers re-sign Mikkola
This forum is so insufferable about that draft because everyone wanted either Tank or RyJo back when Johansen was projected to go late first. Day of people were interested in Fowler since he was falling as a value pick, but most people still wanted a forward given the recent investments in MDZ and Sanguinetti.I always thought people wanted Cam Fowler instead of McIlbust
I recall a relatively even distribution amongst Tank, Fowler, and Gormley. No one wanted McIlrath that’s for sure.I always thought people wanted Cam Fowler instead of McIlbust
Thank you. Also, what the f*** is wrong with the morons living in the past? f***ing get over McIlrath and Buchnevich and enjoy the start of another PO war where we're not beggars but strong contenders.

Not really. If Laf and Kakko had busted out like Kane and Toews or some other high end picks then we'd be there. We may still get there. Should we sit around waiting? Let our older good players decline first? We might very well have a long stretch of teams that can and sometimes will go deep. One of them might reach the promised land. It's really all I ask for. Nothing is promised, given or guaranteed. But it's not true to claim that it's just random and nothing else you can do except spend your assets and hope the wheel comes up with your number.
There are better approaches and this has been proven.
You and me both hahaha. I largely stopped watching the draft because of 2010 lol!!! I was like...I can't sit here all day waiting for them to pick just for them to pull out a turd like McIlrath.Well, we finally got the guy I wanted 10th overall in 2010.
Some were worried about Tank coming over from Russia… some others didn’t care. Like meI always thought people wanted Cam Fowler instead of McIlbust
Seems like everyone in STL is having a down year. I think he comes in hot or has a run in the playoffs. You and me both hahaha. I largely stopped watching the draft because of 2010 lol!!! I was like...I can't sit here all day waiting for them to pick just for them to pull out a turd like McIlrath.
Not to be THAT guy...but was Tank hurt or something? Because to be honest, 10 goals in almost 40 games leaves me...uninspired.
